Brexit (Britan exist) won the election to leave the E.U. by 1.3 millions votes. Here are a few facts and predictions related to this shocking vote.

<<<  The 28 member European Union.

Understand this:  Midknight Review sees globalism,  as a form of governance,  as a bad thing,  the opposite of anything considered "democratic advancement,"  and,  the end of national sovereignty.  Hillary and Barack both intend to take our guns,  control the debate over climate change and dictate educational content for our children via treatise with the United Nation or some form of Central Planning on a global scale,  similar to the E.U. Those treatise,  they will tell us,  are binding on all member nations.  THAT is where the Marxist Progressives of today,  are trying to take this once great nation.

Definition(s) you need to know:  Brexit is the term used to designate those who want to leave or exit the E.U.     . . . . . .     (Brexist = "Britain Exist")

Article 50:  the rules for exit  – contained in Article 50 of the Treaty of Lisbon – are briefly stated but rather involved to implement.  You will hear much about Article 50 in the coming days and weeks.

Understand that the E.U is 59 years old.  The Founding Nations include  France, Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy and Belgium.  The capital of the E.U. is Brussels.

Today, there are 28 member states in the European Union including the United Kingdom.  To prevent a total break-up of the Union,  many believe political leaders will work for the most punitive of economic processes,  in an effort to discourage other nations from leaving the EU.

Untying Great Britain from the old membership is the easy bit. Harder will be agreeing a new trading relationship with the remaining states, establishing what tariffs and other barriers to entry are permitted, and agreeing on obligations such as free movement. Such a process, EU leaders claim, could take another five years.

Civil Service insiders expect a new Brexit government to opt for something quite radical, and that is to use the opportunity (the vote to leave the EU) of “throwing off the shackles” to re-regulate Britain.
Many if not most regulations effecting Britain, and come from outside the nation's boundaries.
