Another Warming Myth (there are soooo many): 2000 was the year Brtis declared snow to be a thing of the past.

Britain:   Just to be clear, however: all that white stuff you can see outside your window is not actually real. It does not exist because it does not accord with the experts’ projections, as best illustrated by the most-read online story in the history of the Independent. The one from 2000 with the headline “Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past.”
Despite the story’s incredible popularity, the Independent decided last year for some strange reason to remove it from its archive so that now when you try to look it up all you get is a “Page not found” error message.

    1. Like ALWAYS, your comment has nothing to do with the article in this post. More than this, the headline in your url addressed article is a misnomer. It should read "2015 is Earth's warmest year by widest margin on record . . . . . . in some of Earth's regions.," and it took Eartgh 135 years to register this tempt increase. Understand that this is a high, not a daily high. Next year it will be lower . . . . so you get in a sweat because one year records a higher average than any year in 135 years. How idiotic to get all bunched up over such a ridiculous bit of fear mongering.

    2. One year? Fifteen of the sixteen warmest years on record have been since 2000. Pretty much every database extant shows a significant upward trend going back to the 1880s. One year might be an anomaly, but almost fifteen consecutive are a little hard to dismiss.... that is, unless you're weak minded enough to have been manipulated by the $558 million given to 91 organizations from 2003 to 2010 to create climate science denial. Judging by the links you cite, these efforts have been largely successful with some people. http://drexel.edu/now/archive/2013/December/Climate-Change/

    3. You really have no comprehension when it comes to reading, do you? No wonder your PhD is non-scholastic. In 135 years, the warmest year IN SOME REGIONS was 1.60 degrees (F) above that average. Know what the article leaves out? Ahhhhhhhhhhhh . . . . . of course you don't. It left out all the "coldest days" in history.

Again, ALL WARMING/COOLING is regional. There is no such thing as "global warming" and you have no rebuttal to that statement . . . . . and that is my original comment; didn't come from any web source . . . just me. Go ahead and prove me wrong, Slyck.

A second fact about warming is that 90% of its value takes place over night . . . . increasing the growing seasons. Turns out that a longer growing season is a good thing.

Third: "According to an ongoing temperature analysis conducted by scientists at NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS)…the average global temperature on Earth has increased by about 0.8°Celsius (1.4°Fahrenheit) since 1880. Two-thirds of the warming has occurred since 1975, at a rate of roughly 0.15-0.20°C per decade." More than this, CO2 emissions have increased by a multiple of 6 with minimul effect on temperature rise . . . . but how would you know this since your info comes from sources that are not allowed to digress from Leftist beliefs. The Marxist Left has criminalized disagreeable speech when it comes to warming issues. Your sources ARE REQUIRED to say what they say. Such is the brain-dead state of the Leftist academic.
