Mission Statement: This blog reviews the news of the day in light of 242 years of American history. "Nationalism," a modern day pejorative, has been our country's politic throughout history, until 2008. Obama changed that narrative. Trump is seeking a return to our historical roots. Some thoughts: First, CNN is an Utopian media outpost and all of its conclusions are of that train of thought, except when reality demands otherwise . . . . . . which is seldom on CNN and never on MSNBC. Secondly, the CNN poll is a popularity poll. Indeed, most people like Obama. At the same time, most people distrust the man, think his is inept as a national leader, failed as to international politics, has not been solid on economic issues, lies at will, and without lasting relevance

But that is why we have elections. And there is no doubt that Hillary is as crooked a politician as Obama is politically ignorant.
