Cruz compares himself to Galileo? Who is more ridiculous, Cruz or Obama for pretending that he was the coming Messiah, that he would cool the earth and chase back the rising tides?

  1. Another item for your Alinsky conspiracy...
Global temperatures from December to February were the highest on record, U.S. climate officials said Wednesday. Globally, the average temperature from December to February was 1.42 degrees Fahrenheit higher than the 20th-century average, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The average temperature was the highest since tracking began in 1880.

    1. Not true for the Great North East, where they are having the coldest, winter in 50 years. Heck, the Great Lakes froze over and Niagara Falls very nearly did the same. It's been snowing in Colorado/Wyoming/Montana since early November, and they had blizzards in Texas.

Now, its been above average here in California for 2014 and, it looks like, this year.

Like I keep saying, "All weather changes are regional, in terms of real averages" Because some moron decides to average the midwest with the west coast does not mean a damn thing. Apparently that is a mathematical concept you have not been able to grasp.

To the reader: if the US is divided into 7 weather regions, and one region has a one degree colder than average year, 5 regions are normal, and the seventh is 3 degrees above normal, when you run the averages, you have "global warming" when, in fact, only one of the seven regions is hot.

Anonymous Bill cannot deal with this reality, so he keeps quoting those who share his mental disability.

      Whatever.

    2. Yes, all the US Gov't science agencies - NOAA, NWS, NASA, world leading climate labs from seven nations, and the US Military - through observations and policy - all agree about climate change.... and I have a 'mental disability' because I disagree with James Inhoffe, the Heartland Institute, the Koch Bros and the GOP industry funded science deniers.

Wow. That pretty much sums up the level of intellect we're dealing with here on this blog.

    3. All, I repeat ALL climate change "science" is modeled in an host of differing mathematical "models." You pretend that their is single model used to make all those crisis predictions that never seem to come true.

Secondly, you have no answer for the reality that "all global warming is, actually, regional in nature." it is only "global" because some nutcase/PhD type decided it was to his political/redistributive advance to average all those regions and pretend that the whole earth is warming at the same scale which is absolutely a demonstrable lie. Two years ago, Spain was experiencing a heat wave. It made the news as proof of "global warming," in spite of the fact the France and Germany were have very normal years. So stop with your charade. It won't fly here, where we actually think about the nonsense we are so often fed.

    4. "pretend that the whole earth is warming"? "So stop with your charade. "

      My charade?

"Climate change is affecting, and will continue to affect, U.S. military installations worldwide. Melting permafrost is degrading roads, foundations, and structures on DoD and USCG installations in Alaska. Droughts in the southeast and southwest U.S. are challenging water resource management."
      - Chief of Operations, U.S. Navy

      heh...'my charade'

    5. The majority of my readership are college educated women. Think you are fooling any of them by ignoring my arguments? To quote a government source, under penalty of jail and/or fines for not supporting "global warming," is a joke. Any source of info you quote, that is under threat for not following the "party line," is suspect, as far as intelligent, objective folks are concerned.

When folks are forced to say what they say, it means nothing. Try to remember that rule.

    6. The evolution / science denier - John D. Smithson's credibility has just been shown for what it is...

      zero.

Paper just published this month shows how the UAH team - Christy and Spencer were in error reporting their satellite data. The article is far too technical for Smithson, but maybe some readers might find it interesting. Christy and Spencer are often quoted by Smithson and conservatives (-they are creationists).

Satellite data is under estimating global warming:

    7. Nonsense. I have read or listened to dozens of statements by climate scientists, on CNN, Fox, ABC and other news networks, in which the satellite data is a challenge to the mathematical modeling (and which of the 50 or 60 or 100 such models are we talking about?) of the Crisis Scientists.

And still, there is no reason for combining all the regions of the world to get an average "they" (the redistributionists) they can use to demand all the earnings of the hard working servants of the world. Go ahead and give me that reason.
