It is not that Gruber lied to us all. Rather, the issue is the fact that ObamaCare is not affordable without limiting services - ala the Palin death panels.

“The problem is it starts to go hand in hand with the mandate; you can’t mandate insurance that’s not affordable. This is going to be a major issue,” Gruber admitted in an October 2, 2009 lecture, the transcript of which comprised the policy brief.
“So what’s different this time? Why are we closer than we’ve ever been before? Because there are no cost controls in these proposals. Because this bill’s about coverage. Which is good! Why should we hold 48 million uninsured people hostage to the fact that we don’t yet know how to control costs in a politically acceptable way? Let’s get the people covered and then let’s do cost control.”   http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/68640

  1. Speaking of lies.... Add another installment to the Fox News BS file:

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee chairman Darrell Issa celebrated the holidays this year by finally releasing his long-hyped report on the IRS “scandal” in which he claimed the Obama administration took revenge on political opponents by targeting them for scrutiny of their tax status.

Why release it during the holidays? Because the report proved once and for all that the White House did nothing wrong.

The IRS was doing its job. Organizations who claim tax-exempt status under 501(c)4 status are supposed to be “social welfare” organizations, and it’s the responsibility of the IRS to ensure primarily political groups don’t use the status to evade donor-disclosure rules.

The IRS looked into groups with both conservative and liberal keywords in their names, because that’s how you’d find groups that conduct primarily political activities.

The only group that lost its tax-exempt status was Emerge America — a liberal one.

There was zero connection between the IRS’s activities and the White House. The administration did not direct the IRS, an independent agency, in any of these matters, in any way.

Of course, you won't hear any of this on the Benghazi channel (Faux News). BTW, once cable network (Dish) has dropped Fox News altogether. Their viewership just gained 30 IQ points.

    1. What in the world does this have to do with idiocy of ObamaCare? Secondly, you don't know what the IRS scandal was all about, do you? You seem to think it was about the refusal to grant 501-c4 status. Pathetic. It was about taking some 160 conservatives out of the fund raising cycle for 2012 by delaying their status . . . and that was proven beyond doubt. IRS directors visited the WH dozens of times. If you think they did not talk to Obama, well, you are just being stupid.

  2. More from the crazy party:
Tea Party New Network (TPNN) produced an article entitled: “Lower Gas Prices Cost American Lives?".

The same people who discredited Obama for high gas prices. Now Obama is "killing Americans" with lower gas prices.

    Insanity.

    1. Do you know that no one knows the TPNN . . . . . no body. Its probably one guy.. I can find articles that tell us Bush took down the Twin Towers, that there were no WMD's, that Bush is a war criminal, that liberals are smarter than conservatives, that global warming causes excessive cold winters, that acid rain will kill us all, that New York City will be under 20 foot of ocean water by 2015, that we were all going to starve to death by the mid-1980's, that our government cannot run out of money, that GITMO pisses off the jihadist but they are ok with being droned to death, that man is good and wars are things of the past, that Iran will not go nuclear if we would only trust them, that Castro is really a good guy, that France is a better ally than Great Britain, that kids really love veggie lunches, that men who do not like being men and chop off their peckers are normal.

No more silly articles, got it. We could trade blows all day, to no avail. Say something about the article in question, or go back into the bathroom and challenge yourself.
