I am happy to report that no news is, really, very good news. Or, in other words, Obama has been a Lame Duck four out of his first six years.

Editor's notes:  Every month to six weeks,  for the past year,  I have taken to cutting and pasting a copy of the current Drudge Report.  The point I make on each occasion is rather straightforward:  Midknight Review is a political blog dedicated to the review of lede stories from any number of sources,  some from the Right and some from the Left.   The point of the morning's cut and paste,  is to demonstrate the fact that there really is very little going in the world of national politics.  A casual view of Drudge makes my point.

There is a sense in which I believe that no news,  literally,  is good "news" for America.

The more comprehensive conclusion is this:  Obama has been defeated in his effort to transform this nation.  Nothing he can do with executive orders is permanent.  Are you aware of that fact?  There is no permanence to much of anything he has done,  except for the dire effects of ObamaCare  -  and that was a legislative effort, not a product of Obama's executive powers.

After March 23 of 2010 and the signing of ObamaCare,  B Hussein Obama,  became a Lame Duck President, a tribute to the expressed will of the people and the power,  the absolute power,  of the conservative nature of American politics.

In 2009 (especially) and 2010,  there was some sort of monster news story every other day,  and I am talking about "major" ledes.  The fact that the GOP had been eliminated from the legislative process,  altogether,  because of McCain's compromised and feckless campaign and his refusal to attack the amateur Senator from Illinois,  was a major story,  in and of itself.  Obama's evolution as a sympathetic national influence for (his fantasy of) Islam was a rather startling story line.  The fact that he gave his first personal interview to an Al Jazeera associate news agency from outside our country  (and not the American media),  was more than noteworthy.  His 2009 Stimulus bill,  passed into law on Feb 17th,  a 1 billion dollar payback bill (including interest) just 28 days after taking the oath as America's from black/white president,  was another monumental event.  And,  after the Stimulus,  there was the year long drama of one party rule and its failure to get anything done, of consequence during that first year.

ObamaCare was signed into law in March of 2010.  Leave off the Stimulus of 2009,  and, America was forced to watch how Democrats function when they are the only party in town.

It really is humorous,  when you stop to think about it.

I was writing,  at a fever pitch during that first year, stories dealing with what was "in the works," coming from the World Without Borders Cabal that was the New Democrat Party.  As I look back on that time,  it turns out,  these were stories that only documented what was NOT getting done.  We were all sacred out of minds. Remember?   Now,  years later and looking back,  we see that nothing was done except to make a mess for more responsible leadership to clean up.

"They" owned the House and the Senate and did not get immigration done,  nor cap and trade,  nor card check, nor the Fairness Doctrine and its sequester of political free speech, nor the demise and finale eulogy of the Grand Old Party.  In fact,  they did not finalize either healthcare reform nor their version of "too big to fail" banking reform during that first year.  When I say, "They got nothing done,"  I am being quite literal.  

And now,  five years later,  the Dodd/Frank finance bill is never mentioned and is not fully written, and ObamaCare is the absolute mess that it is.  And,  I,  as a political news commentator,  am left swimming around in a pool of still water,  with nothing to do,  but wait for this moronic American episode to reach its conclusion.

When you review the Drudge headlines,  make note of the number of headlines having to do with national politics and the Obama Regime's legislative corrections and transformative proposals  . . .  there are none.

And that is the point of this post.
