McCain issues his first critical comment with regard to Sarah Palin, an admission of her political power and influence - something to be feared by those who will not support conservative values.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) is reported to have made comment expressing his hope that Sarah Palin does not get involved in primary fight in South Carolina to unseat Lindsay Graham.

In an interview with the NY Times,  McCain made this specific statement:    “Oh, I pray she wouldn’t do that.  And you know, I find it hard to believe that she would.”

Editor’s notes:  and with those words,  we have the first sign that the cautious “alliance” between McCain,  a committed anti-teaparty,  pro big government Establishment Republican, may be coming to an end.

There are no two people more at odds with each other than the man who pretended to a conservative during his 2008 landslide loss to Obama,  and Sarah Palin,  his running mate and  the only reason this blotted hypocrite of a Republican did not lose by 10 points.
