Christie's claim to fame may not outlast that of Sarah Palin's. Time for a real conservative to step forward. 2016 is just around the corner.

<<<  He gives self-serving bullies a bad name.  We do not need this clown in the GOP.

NewsMax gives us this report:  "New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie's loyalty to the Republican Party is being questioned after he refused to make a public endorsement of a possible GOP challenger to New York Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a move some say could hurt his chances of winning the 2016 GOP presidential nomination . . . . .  Christie already has a problem with many Republicans refusing to forgive him because of his embrace of [President] Obama and his socially liberal policies," a GOP operative told the Post . . . . . . But this bizarre behavior in suggesting he won't help a Republican defeat a Democratic governor, and a Cuomo no less, could finish off his chance of becoming his party's nominee for president in 2016."

Editor's notes:  Whether or not this behavior is "bizarre,"  for certain it appears that Christie is not a "team player."  Let's not forget his refusal to help Ken Cuccinelli in his campaign for Virginia Governor, a refusal taken but without any explanation.  We do know that Cuccinelli was supported by teaparty conservatives.  Christie's silence gives us all opportunity enough to doubt his claim at being a conservative.   Couple this with his willingness to openly criticize the GOP as he appears on various liberal shows, and you have a potential candidate apparently hoping to run for the presidency as a "moderate,"  appealing to those who who have complaints with the GOP, as he builds a voting coalition that does not include GOP conservatives.  His strategy?  To win in 2016 without teaparty support.  Fat chance on that  - and the pun is fully intended.

Understand that McCain was rejected by party conservatives a millions stayed home,  refusing to continue to compromise on conservative principles after decades of doing just that  --   a reason for McCain's  demonstrative bitterness at teaparty types,  to this day.

With Romney,  the Establishment GOP decided they would actually try to win in 2012 without involving conservatives, summarily ignoring the "king maker," Sarah Palin and her 5 to 8 million supporters  (she has nearly 4 million who read her Facebook every day).  Understand that the only election won by the GOP since 2006 was the 2010 midterms,  and that was wholly a conservative (teaparty) butt kicking of the Socialist/Progressives.  But,  it appears that Party Leadership would rather lose an election than continue with the conservative majority within the Party.  Kind of silly,  no?

In addition to losing party conservatives,  there is no question that Christie's  love affair with Obama just days before the 2012 elections cost Romney even more votes - perhaps 2 million - as people,  trying to decide if they were going to vote for Obama a second time,  got the "green light" from this self-serving elitist pretender.  Keep in mind that Obama won by just 3 million votes  -  and I have just given you two sources for that depression.

Enough of this political "me first" crap.  And "me first" is exactly what we have in the Fat Man.  Remember his keynote address at the RNC?  I do.  It was all about him and the successes he was having as W Virginia's governor.  Disgusting,  to say the least - but something none of us should forget.
