Boehner is angry. What bothers me is that he is, also, not being as honest as he could be.

In this short video clip,  we have the Speaker implying this budget deal is a deficit reducing bill that does not violate any of the teaparty/conservative principles.  Further,  he makes it clear that he is tired of "outside" resistance to GOP compromise with the Left.

In his little tirade, he completely ignores the fact that “compromise” with the Left has been the name of the game for four stinking decades  (at least).  Every year,  for the past 40 years,  our GOP leaders have promised smaller government,  less spending,  and an increase in Constitutional protections,  all things the Left opposes,  yet,  the size of our blotted government continues to grow,  spending skyrockets, and Constitutional protections,  at least from the Left,  are laughably decreasing.

"We"  are tired of the compromise.   For the sake of argument,  let's agree that compromise is a necessity,  but, now,  after 40 years,  that compromise had better include a move to smaller government, a balanced budget and increased individual liberties,  or the so-called "Right," is simply no longer interested.

Finally,  the implication that this deal is a "deficit reducing deal"  is so much tripe.

Look,  the deal increases spending (increasing the debt ceiling through September of 2014) by 900 billion dollars,  with the promise of deficit reduction to come,  beginning in 2016.  What is laughable in this farce of a “deficit reducing deal,”  is this, the deal cuts 23 billion dollars over the course of a decade beginning in 2016.  That’s 2.3 billion per year in contrast to $800/$900 billion (at least) of increased debt,  incurred during each and every year.  You do the math.  The end result,  the net result,  is a mockery and,  I say,  an outright lie . . . and this time,  the "lie" are coming from the leadership within the GOP.  “No credibility” Beohner says.  What a joke of a criticism.

See the CNN article, here,    for details on the numbers,  but don’t assume that CNN is being honest in its analysis or fully knowledgeable in its assessments.
