Midknight Review now believes that Obama's push to alter the course and nature of the American Politic has been defeated.

Understand that while Obama's assault against this nation's soul (its Constitution and founding principles) remains a serious concern, the notion that his presidency has "fundamentally transformed" this country into something that it was not before his Imperial Presidency,  is so wrong as to be laughable.

In May of 2008,  Michelle Obama described her radicalized husband with these words:   "Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversation; we're going to have to change our traditions, our history; we're going to have to move into a different place as a nation."

Her dream of a nation with a different history,  filled with different traditions,  headed in a totally different direction (i.e. "fundamental transformation") is over.

Of the 61 headlines on Drudge,  Thursday morning,  only two headlines had anything to do with "something Obama."  The House voted against ObamaCare for the 38th time and a federal court declared Obama's "recess" appointments to the National Relations Review Board to be unconsititutional,  the third federal court to do so.  The remaining 59 headlines had nothing to do with Obama.  He has become irrelevant.

Understand that the Obama Doctrine has been taken to the Supreme Court 25 times,  during his first 4.5 years in office;  he has lost his case on 15 of those occasions.  Preceding presidencies have a 70% success rate in defending their agenda at the High Court level;  Obama stands at 37% and that does not include lower court decisions such as the NLRB decision of this past week.

He has more than 20 scandals to his credit,  four of which are currently in the news,  and has no stated agenda for the remaining 3.5 years as "president."

He is a nothing burger  . . . . . . .  and we are happy to document that fact,  in this post,  well before his time to retire has come.  The nation has been sorely injured because of his feckless rule,  but "fundamentally transformed?"  ---  well, that did not happen.

You should know that I am not the only one who sees the Obama presidency as the abject failure that it is.  I end this post with several lede stories that make the same point.  Make note that these stories come from the Huffington Post,  the Wall Street Journal,  the Daily Beast,  Fox News,   all major publications crossing the lines of the liberal/conservative devide.
