First, you should know that half the members of the teaparty's grassroots movement are women. Secondly and apparently, Democrats
think that
men who dress up like women are, in fact, women. Also, it seems that Democrats forget there are some 40 different laws on the books, defending woman and men who dress like women, from violence in the home and on the streets. Articles such as the above, make it sound as if there are no protections at all, or that women will be more safe than before this law is revisited.

These are the same people who think that because some jerk kills 20 children on the East Coast, they should take away the legally owned guns of folks who live on the West Coast.
