Legalized voter fraud . . . . . . . an example.

From the Wall Street Journal,  we have this:  The U.S. government spent about $2.2 billion last year to provide phones to low-income Americans, but a Wall Street Journal review of the program shows that a large number of those who received the phones haven't proved they are eligible to receive them.
The Lifeline program—begun in 1984 to ensure that poor people aren't cut off from jobs, families and emergency services—is funded by charges that appear on the monthly bills of every landline and wireless-phone customer. Payouts under the program have shot up from $819 million in 2008, as more wireless carriers have persuaded regulators to let them offer the service.

Editor’s notes:  understand that this “free phone” idea was a GW Bush idea, initially.    Under his program,  we not only supplied free phones to certain of the poor, but, also,  paid their phone bills.

As is the case with virtually all that Obama has done,  in terms of anecdotal solutions,  he has taken a Bush program and used it to buy votes for his re-election.    There is simply no good reason for this program,  certainly not at the national level.  It is there for one reason and one reason only  -  to secure votes for the Progressive Extremist Party that masquerades as the Democrat Party.  More than 2 million phones were given away last year,  election year.

As close as was this election,  it turns out that the phone give-away program took Obama over the top in his re-election bid.

Note: other examples of legalized voter fraud included busing the poor to the voting booth,  a Democrat trick to increase the Democrat vote,  and assistance offered in the voter ballot process,  a Democrat trick that includes Progressive/Socialists actually helping folks to register their [Democrat] vote.
