If we can trust a Left leaning polling concern, here is what PEW found are the priorities for legilative change, per the American people. They are not what Obama has at the top of his list - in other words, "Same old same old."

Strengthening the economy and doing something about the job situation are the top two considerations for the American people, almost all of us, in fact. Obama thinks he has done his job on these matters, or at least, taken this nation far down the path to recovery.

Defending against terrorism is third on this list, something that Obama thinks he has conquered, declaring the war on terror to be over. 76% of the American people don’t agree.

Fourth on this list is the repair of Social Security. The sequester will help to solve the entitlement crisis, another area of concern for which Obama and the American people do not see eye to eye.

And in all this, Obama is wasting time campaigning for an item that ranks 18^th on this PEW list of priorities.
