We are spending a little over 1/2 our budget on entitlements.

Understand that we supposedly spent 3.8 trillion on our annual budget in 2012.   We borrowed 1.3 trillion of that amount  -  half from China/Japan and others;  the other half,  we borrow from ourselves, if you can believe that.  When Obama tells us he has "fixed" medicare for 8 years,  he means to say taxes taken in will give us enough money to meet our "paid outs" obligation.  After eight years,  he has no plan except,  of course, to tax everyone.  And,  that is where we are going under Obama.  Understand that in 10 years,  all our current tax revenue will go to pay for the four items above plus the interest.  

We are at the end our rope with no plan from the Big Spenders in the Democrat party for continuing on the same path we have taken over the course of the past 60 years  (since the socialist president,  FDR).  Life as we know it,  is over and that is what this election is all about.  When we are 10 years away from disaster,  we are at "ground zero."  There is no more time.  "10" is the new "zero."
