Peak Broadcasting is canceling Limbaugh, Hannity and others(?) from the second largest radio market in the United States. More on this tomorrow.

Update:  well,  I am sorry to announce this particular fact: as it turns out,  Clear Channel and Peak Broadcasting don't own KMJ,  they own the Limbaugh program,  the Hannity Program,  the Glenn Beck Program,  and George Noory's Coast to Coast.  Apparently Clear Channel is calling these programs "in,"  and will no longer sell them to commercial radio,  beginning January 1st of 2013.  It is all about making money  . . . . . .  and,  Rush Limbaugh is the only one big enough to stop this.  He has known of this move,  for more than a year,  and has decided,  for whatever reasons,  to hold off on any objections . . . . . . very disappointing news.

Perhaps he has something up his sleeve.  We all certainly hope this is the case.  If not.  His credentials as the third most important conservative leader,    will have been permanently damaged.  (I say "third" because of Number One,  Ron Reagan,  Number Two,  Bill Buckley,  and then Rush  -  of course,  maybe Goldwater should have been named as Numero Uno.)

Of course,  it is possible that Rush does not have the power we are assuming. Time will tell.

Our staff of talented professionals recognize that community service is derived from the relationships we foster throughout our significant coverage areas.

Peak Broadcasting means passion for great radio brands, created by talented individuals who see their job as something to be very proud of.

(Editor's note - all of this is so much barnyard,  chunky style.  This cannot be a business decision because the enormous loss in income because of this decision.  If not "business,"  then what?  There can be just one reason  -  editor)

Peak’s relentless will to win is based on its unique culture that adheres to the highest broadcast standards within the cities we serve.

Questions to be answered:

Does this decision effect both the KMJ FM station,  as well as the AM station?

Does this mean that Peak is pulling all nationally syndicated conservative programming in the Western States?  I mention "conservative"  because there is little to no liberal broadcasting.
