GALLUP: R 52% O 45%... No candidate has been this far ahead in the Gallup poll and lost the general election. Of course, we all know there can be a first time for anything, but this is great news, nonetheless.

REALCLEAR MAP: Romney takes first lead in electoral college... He does not have enough votes to win the election, but Obama has even fewer electoral votes. The trend line is critical, here and Romney owns that reality.

Closing 26-point gap, Romney's favorability rating tops Obama's for first time... 50/49 for Romney. At one point. Romney was 26 points down.

PA SHOCK POLL: R 49% O 45%... Two weeks ago, Romney was down by 6 to 10 points in this poll.
