US President Barack Obama has lifted a ban on financial aid to the Palestinian Authority. Obama stated that the aid was “important to the security interests of the United States.” The US Congress froze a $192 million aid package to the Palestinian Authority after its president, Mahmoud Abbas, defied US pressure and sought to attain UN endorsement of Palestinian statehood last September. The presidential waiver means that aid can now be delivered. . . . . reported in the Times of Israel on Friday the 27th.

Editor's notes: in the world of "finance," 192 million dollars is "critical" to nothing. I am saying that this money advances nothing of importance to our national security. If, in fact, this was a truly stated belief on the part of the Obama Administration, it would border on "stupid." Secondly and again, we see this Administration making a decision as if it knew better than all others. Obama's strategy of challenging Washington as he acts out his "presidency" in dictatorial form, has become a threat to our national security in and of itself . . . . . . . . forget the PLO. Third, this ridiculous decision brings the total known dollar amount given to the PLO to 1.5 billion since 2009.

Sidebar: if the Administration is honest in its assumptions, then and only then, is this decision "stupid." If, on the other hand, this decision if not borne of honest intentions, the "gift" is nefarious in nature and a threat within itself.

While Obama claims to the best friend of Israel in our nation's presidential history, he has stalled for nearly four years as Iran moves ever closer to full nuclear [attack] capability and has given the terrorist PLO three gifts of 900 million, 400 million and, now 192 million in "financial aid," as if these terrorist will not use this money to increase its weapons inventory . . . . . . . all of which is or will be used against Israel.

Point of post: to document another reason for deposing our resident Tyrant.

July 2, 2008, Obama had this to say: "We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
