When ABC reported on Col West's remarks, they gave us this: “I believe there is about 78 to 81 members of the Democratic Party that are members of the Communist Party.”

They forgot to report the explanation: “Call them what you want; they’re clearly people who oppose capitalism and free markets and individual economic freedom. So, if the shoe fits.”

And if you doubt Col West's claim, maybe you should try reading, for a change. Start with this Politico article entitled "CBC members praise Castro." That is the far Left Politico's characterization of the CBC. Preach it, Col West, preach it !!

This week the Congressional Black Caucus visited Cuba and reportedly met with Raul and Fidel Castro, who they lavishly praised. As with the Lugar delegation, members of the CBC did not meet any dissidents or any members of Cuba's pro-democracy movement. However, CBC recommended that the embargo be lifted. RealClearPolitics
