Ashley Judd is a stay at home mom and the next target of the Obama Administration (?)

Star of "Missing" and everyone's "babe," Ashley Judd is a proud stay-at-home mom of "privilege."  Will Obama and Hilary Rosen attack her next?
In her own words
I consider myself a feminist.  Actually, I consider my husband and my father feminists, too.  I know a lot of people, for various reasons, cringe at the word.  I think, for some, there is a stigma or a notion that all feminists are men-hating and armpit hair-growing women who generally have a militant, angry demeanor.  That's simply not the case; At least for me.

Feminism, quite simply, is the movement and the belief that women are and should be treated as equal to their male counterparts.  See? Simple. If you believe women can do anything a man can do and believe they should have the same rights, then you're a feminist too!

As most of you, I feel women are just as smart and are sometimes smarter than men.  Duh, that's a no brainer.  Women can be excellent leaders, often leading companies to the top.  In fact, studies show that organizations that are heavily weighted with females tend to out perform their male dominated counterparts.  Many attribute it to communication styles, the ability to show empathy and being a team oriented leader as opposed to using a  top-down management style.  (Obviously, this is a generalization, as I have been under the supervision of many wonderful, empathetic and inspiring male leaders.)

As you know, I am a stay at home mother.  I do all the cooking and laundry, most of the cleaning, and the majority of the child care in my family.  Some admire my work, others don't. Some think I just sit around all day.  Some think I have the toughest job in the world.  Others think I am setting the female population back 50 years.  After all, women fought to get out of the home. Remember?  . . . . . . .
