Talking point #351: this election will be about Obama and no one else.

If you drew a straight line graph representing the information on this Rasmussen chart, it would look like a hockey stick.

My point? Well, it is rather straight forward. All this talk of Obama moving up to 50% or a point or two higher, from 42% (he is currently at 43% on Gallup) means almost nothing. Understand that he won election with 7% of the popular vote when his approval numbers were above 60% !!

Let that soak in for a moment or two. He had better be above 55% before this election season kicks into high gear or his days are numbered.
