Think the Democrats are united in the brand of liberalism presented by the Obama's? Think again.

Joe Manchin of West Virginia, the very tiresome socialist, Bernie Sanders, and John Barrows, Democrat/Georgia, are pictured left.

What do they have in common? All are Senators. All are Democrats. And all are undecided as to whether they will participate in the Obama re-election campaign. Of course, they are not considering change sides. But, each in their own way, are quite disappointed in their party leader.

Add to these three, the names of House members including the likes of Tim Holden and Jason Altmire, both of Pensyvania, Ben Chandler of Kentucky, the big surprise on this list, a representative from my district, here in California, Jim Costa, Joe Donnelly of Indiana, Jim Matheson of Utah, Mike McIntyre of North Carolina, and, another surprise, Michael Michaud of the very blue state, Maine.

Last year, singer Barbara Streisand, organized a $35,000 per plate fund raiser, but did not attend the event. "Ophra" has decided not to use her fame in support of Obama, as well. The Fat Michael Moore has openingly criticized Obama, reading a stinging letter of derision on MSNBC earlier this year. Bill Maher has expressed extreme disappointment. Maxine Waters told members at the socialist gathering of the Congressional Black Caucus, "We don't know what his agenda is" as she complained about Obama's failure to live up to expectations within the Black community.

All those named above are frustrated with Obama, at some level, as he pretends to serve this nation as "president." In terms of the larger population, his approval numbers remain set in stone, between 40 and 45 percent.

Rather than making a move towards "the middle," Obama has made a rather hard turn to the Left, even increasing his cynical opinion of the Right It has become obvious - since April of this year - that he intends to pursue an "in your face" campaign that may prove to work against him and the legislative strength of the Democrat party, as a whole.

I have often written, "Before this is all over, Obama may prove to be the worst thing to hit the Progressive/Democrat Party . . . . . . . ever." I still believe that to be the case.

All we can do is hope for the best on that one.
