Snoring Honor: Beck's big rally just a long-winded and boring sermon. And boy, was the crowd white. — Glenn Beck promised there wouldn't “be a dry eye in the house” after his big speech today at the Lincoln Memorial for his “Restoring Honor” rally — because, you know, it was going to be “so stirring.” . . . .
Editor's notes: so much for the unbiased reporting over at Crooks and Liars. This was written by a guy who reportedly fell asleep during his mother's funeral. Geeeezse.
The fact of the matter is this: there was plenty of opportunity for tears throughout the course of the 3 hour, 19 minute event. Understand that Crooks and Liars is all about Marxist angst against American Patriots. "We" are the "crooks and liars," so what do we expect? Of course the Marxists of the world hated this event -- attended by [at least ] half a million and watched by another 200,000.
And where was Al Sharpton? Well, he was nearby shouting his version of hate speech to some "1,000 to 3, 000" (per his accounting). Why did Sharpton stay away? There certainly was no honest reason. It would have been a wonderful opportunity for Sharpton to help bring this country together. It is for certain that Obama and Company have no interest in making the effort.
Understand that the first estimates on crowd size probably will be much smaller than the actual number. After-event reports give Beck's rally 700,000 to a million. We have seen one picture of the Sharpton event and it looked like at least 3,000 .
The Restoring Honor rally had cameras set up everywhere at the event with the single purpose of crowd count. The Beck count will be an accurate count. We do not expect a fair count from the Marxist Media, already proven guilty of designed bias during the past '08 campaign.
