Sooo, how is Obama different from every other politician you have ever ever played "the game?" Where is the stinking change ??

From the very liberal Washington Post, we have this tid-bit -- its a story about the oil company -- BP -- that is in the middle of the storm in the Gulf. It was their oil station that crashed and burned a couple of weeks ago. They happen to be the most visual oil company on television with their "green" agenda and have given the Obama Administration millions and millions of dollars.

With that, you now know why Obama is not out to destroy BP as has been his practice with AIG, Goldman Sachs, the original GM and Chrysler Motors, Wall Street, the ten largest banks in the nation, the conservative grassroots movement, the "tea baggers" (his filthy talk, not ours) and on and on. Now, out of the clear blue, Mr. Environmentalist Obama, gives BP a total pass as regards certain environmental and here is that story:

The Interior Department exempted BP's calamitous Gulf of Mexico drilling operation from a detailed environmental impact analysis last year, according to government documents, after three reviews of the area concluded that a massive oil spill was unlikely.

The decision by the department's Minerals Management Service (MMS) to give BP's lease at Deepwater Horizon a "categorical exclusion" from the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) on April 6, 2009 -- and BP's lobbying efforts just 11 days before the explosion to expand those exemptions -- show that neither federal regulators nor the company anticipated an accident of the scale of the one unfolding in the gulf.
