Two Socialist organizations in Maine try bribery against Susan Collin's announced "yes" vote for Kavanaugh

Republican Sen. Susan Collins of Maine fired back at progressive activists on Monday who have been raising money to oust the senator in the event she votes affirmatively to confirm Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in a Senate vote the end of September.
“I consider this quid pro quo fundraising to be the equivalent of an attempt to bribe me to vote against Judge Kavanaugh,” Collins told Newsmax. “If I vote against him, the money is refunded to the donors. If I vote for him, the money is given to my opponent for the 2020 race.”
Collins was referring to the joint effort by Maine People’s Alliance and Mainers for Accountable Leadership to crowdfund in an attempt to compel the senator to vote

CNN Poll: Trump approval down 6 points in a month, hits low among independents

Here is one of the problems with a CNN poll.  Besides believing that it is A-OK  to lie if the circumstances merit,   CNN polls are weighted 28% in favor of the Dems. In other words,  because there are more Dems than Republicans,  if they ask 70 Rupublicans about the president,  they will ask 98 Democrats.  They do not go 50/50 and then build "turnout models."  Rather they build projected turnout into the numberical demographic of the poll itself.  In this case, projecting a 28% larger turnout with Dems than the GOP.  And then they tell you their polling is "scientifc."  A total load;  no more scientific than the fantasy that a man can become a "real" woman.
