Its about time: Fox changes rules for 1st tier debate which might push Rand Paul to the 2nd teir.

Fox will feature only those who finish top 6 in national polling and/or  top 5 in polling for Iowa or New Hampshire.

Rand Paul will not accept being relegated to an undercard debate and is willing to protest, the Republican presidential candidate said Wednesday.

“I won’t participate in any kind of second-tier debate,” Paul declared in a radio interview with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade.

Taliban wondered if Obama was gay

Beckie Strum / New York Post:
Bergdahl: Taliban asked me if Obama is gay  —  Bowe Bergdahl compared his first year in Taliban captivity — starved, stinking and chained to a bed — to being tossed in a closet and forgotten.  —  “Picture someone taking a bag, throwing it into the closet, shutting the door and just forgetting about it.

Editor's notes:  Two things:  Obama has been married for quite a few years and has two children   . . . . . .    so no,  he is not gay.

But rumors about Obama and Larry Sinclair have been around for years and years.  Understand that I do not care what Obama does in his private life.  Besides,  I thought the Left has no problem with "gayness," yet,  every time there is a rumor of this kind,  they are the first to publish the rumor  . . . . .   and this rumor never seems to go away.

Is this true or is the Liberal Media trying to pick our candidate ?????

Its called an "outliar" poll when it publishes a result that is not common to the other polls.  In this case,  "out liar" may be an accurate nomenclature.

1955 warrmer than this Xmas . . . . Indian Summer ?????

With all the talk of a warm, snow free December back East,  you should know that this is not the first time.  Christmas Eve 1955 was much warmer. Three fourths of the country was over 60 degrees.   All locations on the map,  below,   were over 60 degrees on Christmas Eve, 1955.

Only difference between then and now is that we used to call it,  "Indian Summer."

Why did Ryan agree to postpone dealing with the employer mandate? We have the answer and it is brilliant on the part of Ryan.

What are the implications to ObamaCare if the Cadillac Tax is allowed to stand?  I am thinking Ryan's decision to postpone dealing with the implementation of the Cadillac tax and the employer mandate,  is part of a plan to leverage Progressives into significant changes to the health care reform.

We all know that ObamaCare is here to stay,  on some level.

Sadly,  it is a fact that health care costs are spiraling out of control.  Understand that only 11 million Americans (at most) are enrolled in the plan   . . . .  and that is the case precisely because of the looming  Cadillac Tax,  something that the Dems are afraid to enact because of threats from the unions.  We are talking about 160 million policies not under the banner of "ObamaCare."   And,  if these folks are not enrolled,  then ObamaCare is not the single-payer forerunner the Progressives had hoped it would become.    AND,  if the union folks have the right to choose their plan,   then the law that requires fines and "membership" is both unfair and politically impossible to maintain   . . . .   all must be allowed to choose.

If I am going too fast for you,  you should know that those 160 million policies,  covering more than 240 million Americans via the "employer mandate,"  continue to exist because of threats from the unions,  who use choice and their "Cadillac" plans to recruit folks into the unions.  Their "Grade AAA health insurance plans"  will be taxed to the tune of 40% annually plus the ever increasing price of annual insurance costs,  when the employer mandate is put into effect.     ObamaCare spells the end of these Grade AAA,  "Cadillac" plans.  At any rate,  Obama has postponed the implication of the employer mandate because the unions have pretty much told him to go to hell if he enforces the employer mandated tax.

When I first heard Ryan's decision to allow the Cadillac Tax to be postponed,  I was as angry as I have been with the man,  and I actually support Ryan and what he is trying to do on the larger scale.    I like the guy.

Now,  a few days after thinking about Ryan's postponement as to dealing with the Cadillac Tax,    I am thinking he is some kind of a genius.   Understand,  that if the GOP wins the presidential election,  the party will have leverage for making significant and need changes to ObamaCare.  "You Dems agree to our changes,  and we will allow the Cadillac policies without the tax."  Powerful.  (in fact,  the leverage exists wheather "we" win the election or not).

In the end,  I believe Ryan is working for revision of ObamaCare,  to the point that it will never be a single payer system.   We win and the Progressives lose.

Saturday Morning Update: Merry Christ Mass and happy holy days. See you beginning Tuesday, 29th.

Saturday AM Update:  Couldn't stay away completely.  My research/publishing time is down from 10 to 2 hours per day,  over the holidays.  Non-stop family from Xmas day thru Sunday evening.  Awesome.  7 kids and 18 grandchildren - blessings all.  Probably a good thing there were no football games on Friday  . . . . . .   forcing us to talk to each other !!!  Our family does a lot of laughing together.  At 70,  life is as good as it has ever been  (disappointments included).  Wishing you ALL the best.

Last night, Trump told a huge crowd of Confederate supporters, "Hillary got schlonged by Obama."

The word “schlong” is a vulgar term for a large penis, the straight-laced Washington Post explained.

But that is not the bad news.  Besides the vularity,  the Left is planning on using this incident as a racist term against Obama.

I hate to say it,  so you have my apologies,  but there is this fantasy that black males have large   . . . . . . . . . . .    ah     . . . . . . . . . . .  schlongs.   You don't think the Wa/Post is not laying the foundation for what they hope is a huge backlash against the GOP?  I mean,  the publication did not define "schlong" with the word "penis,"  but with the words "large penis."

Me?  I am hoping this is the end of Trumps' growing support.  Time will tell,  but, clearly,  there are limits to what a person can say and remain viable in a national campaign.  Understand this,  the non-Trump, one tooth, meat eating, Confederate conservative will support Trump no matter what,  but 70% of GOP primary voters are looking for a winner.  It is clear that Trump cannot win using the kind of vulgarities we heard yesterday.

While the Left is drooling over a Trump candidacy,  I cling to the hope that he will not be the nominee,  but it is clear that the Trump cabal has hi-jacked the conservative,  teaparty movement.  Will conservatives come to their senses in time to save this election?  Again,  time will tell.

No good reason for this pic. . . . . . . period.

Much is being made about Hillary returning late to podium.  OK.  I don't care for Hillary,  but,  why in the world didn't ABC News make the men wait until she got back!!!  Good grief.

Kelly, Wallace, Baier To Moderate Last GOP Debate Before Iowa Vote

Iowa primary is February 1, 2016 and all GOP primaries are over by the first of July, 2016.  The GOP field will be much smaller,  of course,  putting more pressure on the remaining candidates to talk in specifics about their individual policies.  Me?  I don't think Trump can do that.  Could be wrong,  and if I am,  he might just be "the man" for 2016.
