Chavez thinks the United States gave him cancer. Does he know about "stupid pill" that was slipped into his drink?

Bloomberg is reporting that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez hinted that the U.S. may be behind a “very strange” bout of cancer affecting several leaders aligned with him in South America.
Sooo,  the U.S. used a “stealth” virus to infect Chavez?  While I would not put this past the Obama Administration,  I doubt it.

Apparently Chavez does not know about the stupid pill operatives put in his drink,  last month. Ah,  no stupid pill,  you say!!   Wow.  That must mean he is a natural.

"Capitalism" is still much preferred over "socialism" according to PEW

From Pew Research,  we can draw these conclusions:

When "Conservative" is pitched against "Liberal,"  Libs lose 50 to 62 percent.

When "socailism" is pitted against "capitalism,"  it loses 31 to 50 percent.

When "liberal,"  "conservative" and "progressive" are named together,  "progress" has a more popular feel by 3 points over "conservative" and 17 points over "liberal."

On this last point,  understand that "progressive"  is not a word limited by years of political bias.  It is not a statement as to the political preference of the nation;  only the likability of the word(s) itself.

For the first time, Obama does better against a No Name Republican than he does against Romney.

Obama does better but still loses to Generic Republican,  according to Rasmussen.

Generic 45% to Barack's 44%

Romney 45% to Barack's 39%

New benefit requests rise to 381,000. What does it mean, if anything?

WASHINGTON (AP) — The number of people seeking unemployment benefits rose last week for the first time in a month. But a measure of applications over the past month fell to a three-and-a-half-year low, an indication that hiring could pick up.
The Labor Department says weekly applications rose 15,000 to a seasonally adjusted 381,000. The four-week average, a less volatile measure, fell for the fourth straight week to 375,000 — the lowest level since June 2008.
Applications generally must fall below 375,000 — consistently — to signal that hiring is strong enough to reduce the unemployment rate.
Unemployment benefit applications are a measure of the pace of layoffs. Applications have plummeted in the past month, indicating that job cuts have fallen sharply. Still, many companies have been slow to boost hiring. . . .  .  (note that the 381,000 is 15,000 higher than the unadjusted 366,000 of the prior week  --  so where is the revision for that week?  The is ALWAYS such a revision  -- blog editor)

There is so much misinformation embedded in this article as to be startling,  but the single most important misstatement is the one that reads,  “Unemployment benefit applications are a measure of the pace of layoffs. Applications have plummeted in the past month, indicating that job cuts have fallen sharply. Still, many companies have been slow to boost hiring.”
The fact of the matter is quite different.  This weekly report is a measure of the number of people making first time application for unemployment benefits and nothing more.  It does not mean that employers are hiring.  It does not mean that more Americans are working.  It does not mean that “job cuts have fallen sharply” in the sense that is good news.  It only applies to people qualified for unemployment benefits for the prior week.  If folks have quit looking for work,  they are not counted in this number.

Since 2004,  the national workforce has fallen from 138 million to 126 million in 2010,  according to Department of Labor stats. What happened to them?  They quit working !!!!  or,  have moved into the “underground” work force.  My gardener is one of these underground rebels.  Good for him.     And, in the three years since Obama took office,  the nation has lost 2 million job positions.  In other words,  there are 2 million few jobs to be found,  than existed four years ago.

The only number that means anything in a definitive sense,  as to the issue of employment,  is the one that compares the size of the national workforce against the number of folks working full time and,  again, part-time (20 hours per week or more).  Understand that the government will count as “part-time”  those who have worked as little as one hour for the month.  Nonsense.

Anyway,  this blog has, as a major theme,  this very issue.  In addition to our weekly reporting,  we have a page dedicated to Department of Labor statistics.
Understand that,  during the election season,  Labor stats are always manipulated,  whether by the Dems or the GOP  --  whoever happens to be in power, at the time.  This campaign cycle,  it is about the Democrats.  Expect to see lies and damn lies flowing like water from the pundits playing “the numbers game.”  It started two weeks ago.

The truth about Sarah in that "stars and stripes" bikini.

The picture on the right has been around for nearly two years.  We all know that it was photo shopped,  but there are those on the left who are "truth deniers" of this fact.

Here is proof of the kind of slut-ball the Left loves to play.  They can't argue issues,  so they do this  -- boys from the Left playing in a house full  men.

If you see this picture (on the right),  counter it every time,  with that which appears in this blog.

Is Sarah completely out of the presidential mix? Not exactly.

Palin on the left;  impostor on the right.

From RealclearPolitics:  From a radio advertisement airing in Iowa:

"Are you unhappy with the current GOP field? Let me tell you something, you are not alone. Join thousands of Iowans as we vote rogue. It's the caucus for Sarah Palin on January 3. Let Iowa and the entire country know we want real leadership and real reform in DC. So come on Iowa, vote rogue on January 3!"

An independent group are [sic] running ads in Iowa asking voters to write in Palin's name. They will air on KCAU-TV in the Sioux City, Iowa market. Some will also air as a commercial during the Broncos-Chiefs game on WHBF-TV in the market for the eastern border of Iowa.

Let's not forget that two weeks before Sarah decided to end the mystery about her campaign,  she had pulled within 5 points of Obama,  nationally  --  at a time when she was wholly unannounced.

Finally, proof that the Girl Scouts have joined the Left Wing and is now a political organization.

In Mediaite,  we find this: " . . . . .  The Blaze [story] ,   accusing, [the Girl Scouts]  . . . . .   of left-wing bias was a jarring one to find, at first. But in looking closer, the Girl Scouts have a lot of explaining to do: in a book on media misinformation intended for children aged 6-8, they tell children a good resource to help fight misinformation is the liberal criticism site Media Matters. "

It is the wording in the blue blurb at page bottom that is the issue in review. Here is the wording under the title

 Urban Legends and other misinformation

The internet is a breeding ground for  “urban legends,”   which are false stories told as if true.  Next time you receive a text or an e-mail that seems unbelievable,  confirm it before you spread it.                             The fact checking site, snopes.com,  investigates everything from urban legends to “news” articles and posts its findings.  Media Matters for America  . . . . gets the wrd [sic] out about media misinformation.

Your loyal M.R. editor  (that would be me), went to the Girl Sout's official site just minutes before drafting this post.  References to Media Matters had already been "washed" from the site. . . . .  no mention at all to Media Matters.

The fact that Mediate,  a left leaning entertainment blog,  had done its own investigation and found the Beck story to be accurate adds a strong sense of confidence as to the truth of the story.

The Daily Caller reported this event:  "In a statement to The Daily Caller, Girl Scouts of the USA confirmed on Wednesday that its literature will no longer refer scouts to Media Matters For America as a source of information to balance bias in news reporting."     But there is a problem with The Daily Caller reporting;  it fails to reference The Blaze in which Beck breaks this story . . . . no credit whatsoever.  Disappointing.   In fact,  when you read the D.C. story,  you realize that you "somehow" missed the part that explains why the Scouts released their statement to the Caller.  Truth be told,  the reporters at the Caller read the story in the Blaze,  contacted the Scouts,  and,  built their story around that sequence of events with no mention of the original source.

On a related but different aspect of this story,  I found this as I search the Scouts archive file on their site:

12.

... resilience. In addition, contrary to what the media touts, family structure matters less than the quality of relation- ships. A ...

http://www.girlscouts.org/search.asp?q=media+matters&num=10&start=10&filter=1

And what is this?  Well,  it is an article (PDF) that moves the young girl scout away from any bias against same sex marriage.  When the Scouts speak of “family structure,”  they are referencing the conflict between same sex “marriages” and traditional marriage.    Even without the Beck story and its abuse in The Daily Caller,  there is ample evidence that the Girl Scouts has a leadership that is Progressive in its make-up and radicalized in it scope.

Parents beware !!!

For those who are concerned,  Speak Now, Girl Scouts,  is a blog written by a one time member of the Girl Scouts,  detailing information as to the Leftist nature of the Scouts.  The whistleblowers who author, Speak Now . . .,  were originally driven out of the Scouts because of the close association between the Girl Scouts and Planned Parenthood and that is documented at Life News.

The story of a recent Korean funeral: Fake grief and the passing of another stinking murderer.

A week or so ago,  one of the most despicable of all current world leaders,  the past dictator of North Korea,  finally died.  In the photo to the left,
click on pic to enlarge.
and I do mean Left,  we have a picture of a front row crowd doing what they have been [obviously] told to do,  weep for the passing of their Communist leader.  Take a look at the picture.  You will note that no one is "crying" past the fourth or fifth row,  and certainly no one in the "second tier" crowd.

Understand that,  although no one in this current Administration cares about the Christian community in North Korea - or any dissident faction,  some of us do.  A few years ago,  under Kim Jong Il's leadership, the North Korean military raided a number of Christian house churches,  drug the worshipers out into the street,  tied them up and ran over them using bulldozers  --  they were alive.

Private gun ownership in most dictatorships throughout the world is banned.  This is nowhere more true than in North Korea.    As a consequence,  the people cannot resist the evil minded folks who seek to continue their enslavement.  And, so,  they do what they are told.  The picture in this post is a testament to this sad circumstance.
