There is a serious problem with Napolitano's explanation supporting imp3eachment:

Napolitano's explanation:  After explaining Russia’s annexation of Crimea from Ukraine, Napolitano said, “Congress votes to authorize federal aid, American aid to Ukraine and the sale of American military goods to Ukraine. The president holds all this up, even though his secretary of defense, his secretary of state, his director of national intelligence, his director of the CIA and every member of his National Security Council says give them the aid, the Russian tanks are aimed their way. But he held up that aid and instead asked for a favor, arguably for his political campaign. That was a violation of federal law. That is an impeachable offense. That is what the Democrats are seeking to investigate.”

Editor's notes:  This antiTrump-paid-advisor for FoxNews (Napolitano) sets up a specific scenario using the wording,  "arguably for ..... his political campaign," and then proceeds as if he is talking about an established fact rather than something that is highly opinionated,  marked by the word "arguably."  Understand that the opposition pulls this stunt often,  introducing a possible scenario and then proceeding as if talking about an established fact.  All mainstream news agencies do this including FoxNews.  You should that the managing editor for Fox News is Sheperd Smith, and Neil Cavuto for the Fox Business News   . . . . .   both committed anti-Trumpsters.   We can be thankful that Fox News Corporation allows for differences of opinion on many issues including most of the issues surrounding the President.  To date,  there are more Trump supporters at Fox (both channels) than Trump haters.

Personally,  I get most of my news,  especially for this blog, from the written word.  Such includes The Hill, Breitbart, Gateway Pundit, The Daily News,  the Federalist, to name a few.

The Dems just can't get the right people, strategically speaking, to lie for them.

“There are different ways to bake the cake, depending on what sort of cake you want. Different flavoring, different temperatures, different ingredients yield different types of cake, and the president as the master baker is testing recipes and deciding what type of cake he wants.”
For the last time, this is all part of the plan. Getting himself impeached is actually a strategic triumph for President Trump, and anyone who thinks otherwise is just not playing chess in enough dimensions. Consider what is the greater mark of strategic genius: to mire yourself and your administration in an endless series of idiotic and pointless controversies, often rife with misspellings, damaging your standing at home and abroad, or to NOT do that? If you say the second, you are a fool. This is all part of the plan. Actually, this is good. Actually, this is great.

I repeat, every move that Trump makes, has made or is making, currently, with the president of Finland sitting helplessly by his side, wearing an expression of alarm, is planned. It is a genius plan. It might look like the random, haphazard flailing of a cat that has gotten its head stuck in a bucket. But actually he is in total control.
He is like a master baker, preparing everything just exactly the way he would like it. You can’t make a cake without breaking eggs! That is why he has broken all the eggs and will not stop breaking eggs until there are no eggs anymore. He is baking the chess pieces into a cake, and it is brilliant, and that is why no one has thought to do it before. If it looks messy, if it looks like he is covered in batter and surrounded by trolls and incompetents and family members (but I repeat myself) — well, that is not correct. I’m embarrassed that you would think that maybe he did not know what he was doing, just because he looked and sounded and acted like he did not know what he was doing. Really, the fool here is you.

Did Nancy's impeachment announcement hurt Trump in the polls? Hardly

President Trump's approval ticked up to 49 percent — its highest mark this year, according to a new Hill-HarrisX survey released on Wednesday.   The figure marks a 2-point increase from a Sept. 11-12 poll.

the State Department will not allow any of its personnel to testify before the Democrats "hit squad."

Press Herald reported:
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo fired a broadside at House Democrats on Tuesday, saying State Department officials scheduled to appear this week before committees conducting the impeachment inquiry would not be made available until “we obtain further clarity on these matters.”
The refusal, in a letter to House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Eliot Engel, D-N.Y., described the demand for depositions by five officials who played a role in U.S. relations with Ukraine as “an attempt to intimidate, bully, and treat improperly, the distinguished professionals of the Department of State.”

No one with half a brain believed the court would comfirm California's attempt at keeping Trump off the states ballot.

Hillary and her original plan if she had not been elected outright.

Understand that the Dems came up with the plan to dethrone Trump since BEFORE the election.  When Hillary asked Trump if he would honor the election even if he lost, we were all surprised at the question.  I surmise that most were thinking what I was silently asking at that moment in time:  "Where the hell did that question  come from?"

Now we know that Hillary and her minions were already working on such a plan and,  for whatever reason,  that question came out of her scheme to turn failure into victory  . . . .  I am talking about a full-on rejection of the election if she lost.  At the time of  "the question,"  Hillary (A) did not believe she could lose, but (B) if, by some wild stretch she did lose,  she had a poorly informed plan (aka "pipe dream") for snatching the election from the hands of defeat   . . . .  and that plan was the Russian Hoax.

Understand that Mueller and the Russian Hoax was about one thing:  using the Russian agent accusation as an excuse to investigate Trump.  Believing that he was a thoroughly unscrupulous businessman,  her allies driving the Russian Hoax would surely find something real and criminal and Hillary could claim the Presidency based on fraud and a wholly unqualified,  criminally involved, candidate.  No need for impeachment.  She would declare the election a sham,  public opinion would be on her side,  and,  she would win the 2016 election based on default.  THAT,  ladies and gentlemen, was her plan.

Turns out Trump was much more a bulldog than she or her Intel Allies could have possibly imagined.  And the battle continues.

Understand that "they" win if Trump loses the Senate in 2020,  even if he wins the presidential election, and that's the end of Trump  . . . .  such is the common point of view.

I hasten to add that Trump would not be the usual "loser" and his reaction to the loss of the Senate is something that we dare not try to predict.  The man has an agenda for this Country.  He is more of a patriot than any of us could have ever hoped for, and,  until his time in office over,  there is hope that he will continue to take back this country,  and,  at least,  forestall the Globalists' takeover of this once great nation.

Top three news programs on cable belong to Fox News . . . . and then there is Rachel.

Sean Hannity had the highest rated news show for the third quarter, averaging 3,276,000 viewers, followed by Tucker Carlson with 3,082,000 viewers, Laura Ingraham with 2,629,000 viewers, and finally Rachel Maddow who averaged  2,518,000 viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. It was Maddow’s lowest-rated quarter since the second quarter of 2016.

Maddow’s numbers began to drop in late March following the release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report and have not recovered since.
