According to four sources with knowledge of the situation, editors and
writers at . . . . [Breitbart.com] . . . . have privately complained since at least last year
that the company’s top management was allowing Trump to turn Breitbart
into his own fan website — using it to hype his political prospects and
attack his enemies. One current editor called the water-carrying
“despicable” and “embarrassing,” and said he was told by an executive
last year that the company had a financial arrangement with Trump. A
second Breitbart staffer said he had heard a similar description
of the site’s relationship with the billionaire but didn’t know the
details; and a third source at the company said he knew of several
instances when managers had overruled editors at Trump’s behest.
Additionally, a conservative communications operative who works closely
with Breitbart described conversations in which “multiple writers
and editors” said Trump was paying for the ability to shape coverage,
and added that one staffer claimed to have seen documentation of the
“pay for play.” (Source: Buzzfeed, here)
Editor's notes: Gateway Pundit is a spin-off from Breitbart and is even more obvious in its support of Trump, to the point of being a Trump/anti-establishment tool. How far "out there" is Gateway? To the point of running a petition targeting Megyn Kelly, in an effort designed to run her off the Fox debate team, here. How pathetic . . . . . to the point of being moronic.
Can you imagine just how hard right many on the Right have gone . . . . . . . to the point of trashing as strong an ally as Fox.? While that network is a news agency featuring "fair and balanced" reporting, it offers equal time to conservative values without being an exclusively "hard Right" cabal. I get frustrated with some of the liberal representation on Fox, but that is part of their fair and balanced agenda, so I live with it.
And I am a Right Winger . . . . . . unless being "Right Wing" has devolved into pushing a Trump candidacy and working against Fox News.
Finally and "btw," if you want to hear informative conservative reporting, listen to Fox Business News. Understand that when it comes to making money, [nearly] everyone is capitalist/conservative . . . . seriously.
Mission Statement: This blog reviews the news of the day in light of 242 years of American history. "Nationalism," a modern day pejorative, has been our country's politic throughout history, until 2008. Obama changed that narrative. Trump is seeking a return to our historical roots. Midknight Review supports this return to normality.
Results of my "blood coming out of her wherever" experiment.
Over the past several days, I have quoted, verbatim, Trump's comment about Megyn Kelly ("blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever) to several women. They all individually agree, that he was talking about Kelly being on her period . . . . . and the several women I talked to came to that conclusion quicker than did their husbands. I have said it before . . . . . he is already running as a third party candidate and no more belongs on stage with the GOP candidates than does his friend, Hillary Clinton.
If the GOP is defeated by this piece of human waste, all I can say is this: "The Grand Old Party gets what it deserves." I do believe that the hard Right will leave the party (not exactly a bad thing if the hard Right is driving the Trump candidacy) along with several million moderate/Conservative Republicans. A defeat in 2016, especially if it is because of Trump, will spell the end of the GOP for a decade.
The aftermath of losing this election will be open rebellion to the current leadership and mass desertion from the party.
Understand this, however: the Democrats are facing the very same problem. The hard Left has taken over that party and has lost the last two midterms in record fashion, on top of a winning but poor showing, in 2012 (Obama took in 3.5 million fewer votes in that election than he did in 2008 and lost his youth army of volunteers). If the Dems lose this election, the Marxist Progressives will be blamed and the consequences will be immediate and severe.
I am glad I am an independent.
Trump claimed that only 2 million would have watched the FoxNews debate if . . . .
Jake Tapper (CNN) took a phone interview from Trump, Sunday morning during the six am hour. In that interview, the delusional Donald Trump claimed that Fox's record debate attendance was due to his appearance in that debate; 24 million watched the second debate of the evening . . . . . . . that without him in the mix, Fox News would have had only 2 million viewers for the debate.
Problem: the earlier debate, with seven participants, many with low name recognition and no Trump, scored more than 6 million viewers for the evening, the third largest attendance in Fox history.
Let's do the math: If Trump is drawing 25% of primary Republicans, at this time, without his presence, that second debate would have scored an attendance of 18 million. In view of the earlier debate's wild success, there is no question that the second debate was going to smash ratings . . . . . and it did, with or without Trump.
His campaign manager, who quit Trump on Friday, understands that Trump is on a delusional track, that he is spinning out of control . . . . . if we are to believe his own words. So, there you have it from an insider.
Trump is a pig when it comes to women, and a ruthless realitor who sees "bankruptcy" as a tool to escape those mean lenders and further his own self-centered interests. Understand that a bankruptcy (and he has taken four business deals into bankruptcy) is all about giving lenders who were promised fair treatment, the shaft. He has cost the jobs of thousands of employees, and has thumbed his nose at millions and millions of debt, debt he begged for and received. Nothing honorable about the man, I do not care if a bankruptcy is fair business practice. I am convinced that a second, a third, and a fourth bankruptcy constitute the way the man does business, and, again, "business smarts" have nothing to do with honor and a man's word.

Obama will back-stabbed anybody to save his reputation . . . . even his lead man in the Senate.
Breitbart: . . . . Obama personally leaked news that Senator Chuck
Schumer had decided to oppose his Iran deal, even after Schumer
personally asked the President not to mention it until he could make an
announcement Friday. During last night’s widely-viewed GOP debate, word began to circulate
that Sen. Schumer had decided to oppose President Obama’s nuclear deal
with Iran. The leak appeared timed to make sure the high-level
Democratic defection–Schumer is the 3rd highest ranking Democrat in
Congress–got as little attention as possible.
Bernie driven off stage by Black Democrat anarchists and then . . . .
John Wagner / Washington Post:
Protesters drove Bernie Sanders from one Seattle stage. At his next stop, 15,000 people showed.
— Bernie Sanders came to Seattle on Saturday with plans to give two
speeches. — The first didn't happen. An appearance by the senator
from Vermont at an event celebrating the anniversary …
Editor's notes: Sanders is frequently compared to Trump as the party's "bad boy." Big difference between the two, however. Trump is all about Trump and may be playing the role of "mole," in an effort to get Hillary elected.
Bernie is all about trying to work for a more equitable domestic construct . . . . . . . a concept for which Trump does not even understand.

(over and over): "I don't need other peoples money." So why the hell is he asking for donations?
Keys to understanding trumpisms: "Making America great again" is code for "I am fantastic and I want to be America's next Supreme Leader."
"I am rich and do not need anyone's money" is code for "just kidding."
"Liberal media" is any media network or person who asks him a difficult question.
From Mediaite: After endless reminders of how rich he is and how he won’t ask anyone for money for his campaign, Donald Trump is now taking contributions for his campaign.
As the 2016 plutocrat continues to defend himself against his latest controversial fight against Megan Kelly, Trump decided to call on his grassroots supporters to help him compensate the blitz of media personalities and rival candidates set against him.
““I want to show the liberal media that not since the days of Ronald Reagan has there been such a grassroots movement of people ready to transform our party and our country,” Trump said.
The statement reads as a continuation of Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan, while also promising that he would not stop standing against the “liberal media and GOP establishment.” Trump also attacked Jeb Bush once again, saying that even though he is asking for money, he will match all donations with his own money, and that he cannot be bought as he says Bush is.
“I will never back down or apologize in the fight to make America great again,” the statement reads. “Stand with me and send a powerful message to the establishment by supporting my campaign.”

Trump is no Conservative. Proof? This Sunday's morning shows and the fact that he is already running as a third party candidate.
Advise to the GOP: Treat Trump as a "hostile witness," beginning now.
He has announced that he is appearing on Meet the Press and whatever other Sunday network programs there are that represent the current and on-going Marxist strategy . . . . . . . . . he will skip FoxNewsSunday. You can hear this blowhard, now: "My campaign is fantastic. I won the debate. And I am costing Fox millions and millions by not appearing on their programing . . . . . . and Hannity will give me plenty of air-time, anyway."
Think about this: For starters, he is already running as a third party candidate. Secondly, During the Obama years, he has contributed to Pelosi, Hillary, and Charlie Crist. He is pro-choice, pro single-payer healthcare (i.e. "government run health care"), and has taken four businesses into bankruptcy and is as thin-skinned and babified as Barack ever thought of being.
And now, this pig thinks it a good idea to run for the GOP nomination while avoiding the network that will give him his largest exposure in that race.
Apparently, he plans on winning the GOP by trashing Fox and Megyn Kelly non-stop . . . . . . . since he has absolutely no specific legislative agenda as a candidate except to say, "Trust me, it will be fantastic. The Mexicans love me, and the blacks."
Take it to the bank, the "other" Sunday shows will love hearing him trash Fox, but will get little out of him in terms of his specific plan as president.
Finally, understand this: If he is a third party President, which party will he enlist for legislative support? It sure as hell will not be the GOP . . . . . . . so much for this nonsense that he is a conservative. AND, just as many on the Left, despise this clown of a man. He is a godless, sexist, self-absorbed jerk who will stiff a lender in the blink of an eye, and argue that such is "good business."

Roger Stone, Trump's top campaign advisor, quits after Trump decided to trash Megyn Kelly and Fox News.

(Reported by Politico) Stone had to fight Trump’s handlers to meet with him for 15 minutes, prompting the following exchange that both of Stone’s friends, independently and separately, tell POLITICO what happened:
Stone: “Donald, stop with the Megyn Kelly shit. It’s fucking crazy. It’s killing us.”
Trump: “What do you mean? I won the debate. People loved it.”
Stone: “You didn’t win the debate.”
Trump: “Yes I did. Look at the polling. Look at Drudge.”
Stone: “The Drudge Report poll isn’t a scientific poll. You won’t give me the money to pay for a scientific poll. And you’re off-message.”
Trump: “There are other polls.”
Stone: “Those are bullshit polls, Donald. They’re not scientific polls. We need to run a professional campaign and talk about what people really care about.”
Trump: “We’re winning.”
After the meeting, Trump did the opposite of what Stone had recommended by going on CNN and trashing Kelly. “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her — wherever,” Trump said, a comment perceived by many to be a reference to a woman’s menstrual cycle. Trump’s campaign later denied that interpretation, but by then Stone was consulting his friends about quitting.
“He is losing his grip on reality,” Stone told them. “He has these yes-men around him. And now he’s living in a parallel world.”
