Here is a brief overview from the second debate of the night:

(see Heritage, here,  for a more comprehensive view of the following)

ISIS
Paul: “ISIS rides around in a billion dollars worth of U.S. Humvees … We didn’t create ISIS—ISIS created themselves, but we will stop them, and one of the ways we stop them is by not funding them, and not arming them.”

Cruz:  "If you join ISIS, if you wage jihad on America, then you are signing your death warrant.”
Criminal Justice
Kasich: “I had an opportunity to bring resources [from Medicaid] back to Ohio to do what? To treat the mentally ill. Ten thousand of them sit in our prisons. It costs $22,500 a year to keep them in prison. I’d rather get them their medication so they can lead a decent life. Secondly, we are rehabbing the drug addicted. Eighty percent of the people in our prisons have addictions or problems. We now treat them in the prisons, release them in the community and the recidivism rate is 10 percent and everybody across this country knows that the tsunami of drugs is threatening their very families.”
Illegal Immigration
Bush: “I believe the people coming here illegally have no other option   . . .  There should be a path to earned legal status for those who are here, not amnesty.”

Trump: “We need to build a wall, and it has to be built quickly. And I don’t mind having a big, beautiful door in that wall so that people to come into this country legally.”

Rubio:  "Let me tell you who never gets talked about in these debates—the people that call my office who have been waiting for 15 years to come to the United States, and they’ve paid their fees, and they’ve hired a lawyer and they can’t get in. They’re wondering if they should come illegally.”
Obamacare
Trump: “[A single-payer system] works in Canada, it works incredibly well in Scotland. It could’ve worked in a different age… What I’d like to see is a private system without the artificial lines around every state.”
Common Core
Rubio: “The Department of Education, like every agency, will never be satisfied. They will not stop with it being a suggestion. They will turn it into a mandate.”

Bush: “I don’t think the government should be involved in the creation of standards directly or indirectly, the creation of curriculum or content.
Economy
Kasich: “Economic growth is the key. Economic growth is the key to everything.

Christie: “If we don’t deal with [entitlement reform], it will bankrupt our country or lead to massive tax increases—neither one that we want in this country.”

Huckabee: “If Congress wants to mess with the retirement program, why don’t we let them start by changing their retirement program and not have one,

Bush:  The new normal of 2 percent that the left is saying you can’t do anything about is so dangerous for our country.
Iran Nuclear Deal
Walker: “This is not just bad with Iran, this is bad with ISIS. It is tied together, and once and for all, we need a leader who’s gonna stand up and do something about it.”

Paul: “I would’ve never released the sanctions before there was consistent evidence of compliance.”
Abortion
Rubio: “Future generations will look back at this history of our country and call us barbarians for murdering millions of babies who we never gave the chance to live.”

Walker: “I’ve always been pro-life  . . . .   there are many other alternatives that would protect the life of the mother. That’s been consistently proven.”
Gay Marriage
Kasich: “If one of my daughters happened to be that [gay] then of course I would love them and accept them because you know what?"

Paul: “I don’t want my marriage or my guns registered in Washington.
Foreign Policy and National Security
Paul: “Each one of my budgets has taken a meat ax to foreign aid because I think we ought to quit sending it to countries that hate us."

Carson: “We’ve gotten into this mindset of fighting politically correct wars. There’s no such thing as a politically correct war. The left, of course, will say … Carson doesn’t believe in fighting stupid wars. And what we have to remember is we want to utilize the tremendous intellect we have in the military to win wars.”

Sadly, the Drudge Poll is giving Trump a run-away win for last night's nothing burger performance.

This is a dynamic poll with folks voting as I write:

Morning News items that promises a 24 hour news cycle:

1.  Schumer announces he will oppose the Iranian deal.  He is the leading Democrat in the Senate.

2.  Last night's GOP   . . . . .    a wild success.

3.  There will be lots of talk about Carly Feorina.

4.  Trump proved himself to be a buffoon and may have lost "market share.,"   and is doing interviews,  today  (the day after the debate),  hoping to counter the negatives of last night.

5.  Hillary will continue to be in the news and under investigation by the FBI.

6.  The Iranian commander responsible for the death of 500 American soldiers traveled to Russia,  yesterday.  This is against the agreement Obama is defending,  today.

Carly wins First Debate.

After the debate,  Carly captured 83% of all approving tweets.  2nd place went to Rick Perry with 7%.  She nailed it.

Jenner's TV reality series is in trouble.

Man hands to match her xy feet.
Gone are the wife, the dad pants and the gaggle of kids, replaced by talk of hormone therapies, sex work and the fight for civil rights (even as a Republican!). It’s a 180-degree pivot — and if Cait herself seems unable (or is it unwilling?) to process it all, how are the twittering and tindering and snapchatting masses supposed keep up?
Beyond the sheer confusion of it all, “I Am Cait” suffers from many of the same ills that plagued HBO’s gay-themed “Looking” and other television shows rooted in identity politics: A boring chief protagonist whose minority status does not a personality make.

In other words, a Biden run ain't going to happen . . . . and believe me, I hope I am wrong.

NYT:  "  . . .    you obviously have to worry about the feasibility and ultimate impact of a [Biden]  run.”

Loretta Lynch is not Eric "Yes Massa" Holder. This would have never happened with Holder at the DOJ.

Understand that Hillary being investigated by the FBI,  commissioned by the DOJ, is enough to do her great political harm   . . . .   even if exonerated especially if the investigation takes a number of months to complete.

It IS a criminal probe. "Is it your testimony that, as Secretary of State, no one ever sent you anything classifed? You served for 4 years and never received a single classified email? "

<<<  Editor's notes:  Isn't it interesting that classified material is never  "classified" when sent?   I mean,  she was the Secretary of State and never received or sent classified emails,  right ??  Her e-mail was sent to her private server,  which no one knew anything about.  She wants us to believe that the Secretary of State never gets classified emails   . . . . . . . .   seriously?  What a load.

The FBI investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s unsecured e-mail account is not just a fact-finding venture — it’s a criminal probe, sources told The Post on Wednesday.
The feds are investigating to what extent Clinton relied on her home server and other private devices to send and store classified documents, according to a federal source with knowledge of the inquiry  . . . . .   If Clinton is proven to have knowingly sent, received or stored classified information in an unauthorized location, she risks prosecution under the same misdemeanor federal security statute used to prosecute former CIA Director Gen. David Petraeus, said former federal prosecutor Bradley Simon.

Too bad we are not just talking about the life and health of a woman, post heat.

Want to know why I absolutely despise Hussein Obama? Because he absolutely despises me "and my kind" (which includes you).

“Just because Iranian hardliners chant ‘Death to America’ does not mean that’s what all Iranians believe.   In fact, it’s those those hardliners who are most comfortable with the status quo. It’s those hardliners chanting ‘Death to America’ who have been most opposed to the deal. They are making a common cause with the Republican caucus.”  ~  Hussein Obama (our first Rogue President).

What a piece of human waste  !!!

He does not know how many states are in our union  . . . .  maybe 60,  he thinks (seriously).  He talks on an 8th grade level except when reading his teleprompter. In his speech, today,  he pretends to know that the vast majority of the Iranian people seek the kind of peace he is offering in this Iranian "Israel Be Damned" Agreement.   His first executive order (January 21, 2009) was to hide all his educational records  (all school and college transcripts AND his financial records as to his college career)   . . . . .  thus,  beginning his term as our first Rogue President by closing the door on transparency.  No president has ever done this.

He is a stupid man,  and the above comment is an extension of that stupidity.

What may not be obvious,  is this:  He thinks this kind of rhetorical crap will change the outcome of the 2016 elections. Part of Hillary's problem is Hussein Obama and the constant,  never ending, running of his mouth.  Usually,  when someone gets the runs,  they seek  medical attention.  Obama simply runs to the first open mic.

Two final thoughts:  . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .,  and,  secondly,  "Thanks for the read meat,  Genius."
