The NY Times has lost its collective mind. Here is example # 3,500,242.

You should know this:  Donald Trump did not "entertain" the idea of not serving if elected as President,  as the AOL/AP article suggests.   What we have, here, is an idiot's question followed by absurd answer.  The comment, "To be fair, The Times noted that it's "entirely possible that Mr. Trump is playing coy," over looks the fact that the N.Y. Times actually thought this was a question worth asking.  It came out of nowhere and had no context except for the mental illness of the reporter asking the question.  In other words,  there was no reason for the question except for the political bias of the Times and its reporter. What's next for the Times?  Will it now concern itself with the issue of a potential ban on carbonated sugar or Trump's position on physically moving the White House into the Ozarks to get away from the traffic and be closer to the people?  You say, "How nuts is all that !!!!" and I say,  "Exactly."   ~ editor.

Donald Trump entertained the idea of not serving as president if he won the November general election in a New York Times story published Thursday.

The Times brought up the scenario, asking whether Trump might go through the general election and win the presidency "only to forgo the office as the ultimate walk-off winner."
In response to the hypothetical scenario, Trump "flashed a mischievous smile," according to The Times.

"I'll let you know how I feel about it after it happens," he then said.

To be fair, The Times noted that it's "entirely possible that Mr. Trump is playing coy to earn more news coverage." But considering Trump's unconventional path to winning the Republican presidential nomination, and his background as a billionaire businessman rather than a public servant, some have questioned whether Trump really wants the presidency.
