The demand for union dues from non-union members is nothing short of theft, and more than one Governor is putting a stop to it.

Editor's Notes:  Here we have another Governor (other than Walker in Wisconsin) who is opposed to the collection of union dues from those who are NOT union members.  Incredibly,  this sort of thing is a campaign issue coming from the Democrats,  who pretend that in this extortion effort, nothing short of legal theft,  they are benefiting the Middle Class.  Time for a change.  This sort of thing is obviously wrong headed.  If the GOP stands its ground on such matters,  their success rate in national elections will only increase.  Salute to the Illinois Governor.
WGNTV  Bruce Rauner stepped up his campaign against government employee unions by eliminating so-called “fair share” dues paid by workers who don’t join a union.
The Republican said Monday he has signed an executive order erasing what he says is a “critical cog in the corrupt bargain crushing taxpayers.” or He says forcing non-union employees to pay union dues requires them to fund political activity they don’t agree with.
He says he took action after a U.S. Supreme Court’s decision last year that found the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act violated the First Amendment by mandating involuntary union dues.
Rauner has called for ending political contributions by unions.
Rauner’s executive order has no effect on those who wish to remain in unions.
