News of the day not covered in this Review blog:

Past Mayor of New York City, Ed Koch,  died yesterday.  A Democrat and a great American,  Koch was often critical of his own party,  including B Obama.  He once said,  “If you agree with me on 8 out of 12 issues, you should vote for me.  If you agree with me on 12 out 12 issues,  you should see a psychiatrist.”  Dead at 88 and he will be missed.

Scott Brown has decided not to run for John Kerry’s empty Senate seat
and who can blame him.  He was treated like a foreigner by members of his own party.

Chuck Hagel’s  testimony at his confirmation hearing was a disaster according to all reports.  Intrade believes that he will be confirmed as Secretary of Defense,  however.

Hillary Clinton is clearly planning on a run for president and Intrade says she will pull it off  (53 – 46).  The Democrats are riding high,  believing the B Obama has set in motion the perfect election/re-election machine of all time.  They keep forgetting that Obama lost 8 million voters in this last election and fell 13 million short in his campaign’s voter turn-out projections.

The Keystone pipeline has been put off for another six months.  No one has a clue as to what Obama’s reasoning is,  on this decision.  Apparently,  they are wrong in thinking reasoning had anything to do with it.
