Here are the
words of, yet another, Black
anti-colonial Marxist, a domestic one
world socialist who is disgusted with this country’s history and feels a
certain sense of identification with others who despise our place in the free world.
From USA Today,
Anthea Butler, in an article
titled Opposing view: Why Sam Bacile deserves arrest , had this to say:
Words have
consequences. I know that because one of my tweets asking “when Sam Bacile
would be arrested” drew wide attention on Wednesday.
My initial
tweet about Bacile, the person said to be responsible for the film mocking the
prophet Mohammed, was not because I am against the First Amendment. My tweets
reflected my exasperation that as a religion professor, it is difficult to
teach the facts when movies such as Bacile’s Innocence of Muslims are
taken as both truth and propaganda, and used against innocent Americans.
If there is
anyone who values free speech, it is a tenured professor!
So why did I
tweet that Bacile should be in jail? The “free speech” in Bacile’s film is not
about expressing a personal opinion about Islam. It denigrates the religion by
depicting the faith’s founder in several ludicrous and historically inaccurate
scenes to incite and inflame viewers. Even the film’s actors say they were
duped.
Bacile’s
movie is not the first to denigrate a religious figure, nor will it be the
last. The Last Temptation of Christ was protested vigorously.
The difference is that Bacile indirectly and inadvertently inflamed people half
a world away, resulting in the deaths of U.S. Embassy personnel. . .
.
Editor’s
notes: it is about time that the Marxist
effort to diminish our constitution be exposed for what it is -- an opportunistic
and transparent effort on the part of those who reject our foundation
assumptions.
The movement has been taken
over by the Marxist Black Collective that exists in this country. Al Sharpton,
Maxine Waters, Barack and
Michelle Obama, and this black
professor, Anthea-Butler, an associate
prof at Harvard, have long held that
free speech is responsible speech and should be limited. . . . . . . . . . by them and no one else. In this case, Butler and the others, want “harmful
speech” that goes beyond “fire, fire!!”
to actually be criminalized.
While there
will always be tension between free speech and responsible speech, the desire
of our domestic Marxist cabal is all about defeating its [domestic] political
enemies and nothing more.
Think about
what is happening. The Left and its
Parrot Press, are steeped in the propaganda
business of blaming the current unrest in Libya and Egypt on some movie that
none of us have seen. Their position
ignores the fact that this very situation existed in the Carter days. Three embassies were burned, back then,
and 8 embassy staff were killed including an Ambassador (1979). What was the movie or article that ignited
those passions? What action of free American speech ignited those fires? 52 hostages were kept
for 444 days, until Reagan took
office. These hostages were released
five hours after Reagan took the pledge.
I am saying
that this foreign bunch of murdering savages has hated us for centuries. The “cause” for the unrest we see spiraling
out of control, is ignorance and
hate. It is that simple. It is that profound.
What the
American Left do not understand and the Hollywood elitists refuses to
admit, is that they would be among the
first to murdered, should this jihadist
movement ever invade this nation in mass.
While “they”
claim Romney is using this time to score political points, of course,
they are doing exactly the same thing and in spades.
And in the midst of all this blood and international angst, Obama decides to continue to fund raise and campaign -- as if doing his job would not reap political benefit, on its own.
