Mission Statement: This blog reviews the news of the day in light of 242 years of American history. "Nationalism," a modern day pejorative, has been our country's politic throughout history, until 2008. Obama changed that narrative. Trump is seeking a return to our historical roots. Midknight Review supports this return to normality.
Four days ago, Obama was up by 5 on Rasmussen and some were so discouraged, they were thinking of giving up. Today, it is the Democrat's turn to share in those feelings.
Obama's enthusiasm level is found in "Strongly
Approve." That percentage needs to be 35 at the least, for him to
be competitive in this election cycle. After the DNC, He shot all the way to
32, but has lost four points in the past three days. His "Total
Approve" numbers, have fallen 3 points in three days and his 5 point
bounce over Romney, has devolved into a one point Romney lead,
today. Be happy and stop worrying. If you must worry,
save it for November 7th.
