<<<<< Well over half a million orders for chicken were filled, yesterday, on "Free Speech Wednesday."
Chick-fil-A restaurants become rallying points for
supporters — (CNN) —
Throngs of people weighed in on the Chick-fil-A debate at stores across the
United States on Wednesday, buying chicken sandwiches to show their support for
the restaurant chain and its president's opposition to same-sex marriage. . . .
Editor’s note: actually, I went to Check-Fil-A for two reasons; One, I was hungry and, two, I despise the anti-First
Amendment crowd. I couldn’t care less
what the Queer Nation types do with their collective Weiner. As long as they use antiseptic, afterwards,
who should care, right? But,
ruin a man’s life and destroy his livelihood because he “stepped over the line as a
businessman," because he dared to express his free speech rights out loud, where others could hear him, well, that is far to Third World for my blood.
Understand that in my home state of California, Democrat run and
ruined, Chick-Fil-A’s all over the
state, were thriving, yesterday. Why so
in Liberalville, U.S.A.??? Because even liberals believe in the free
rite of expression. Big Government Liberal Democrats are not the problem nearly
so much as is the anti-colonial crowd in control of this nation’s immediate
destiny.
We should never lose
sight of our priorities. This election
is not about gay rights. It is about
freedom, freedom of expression and
speech, freedom from a centralized government,
freedom for laws legislated by do-gooder [wannabe] tent people, freedom from those who would come into this
old man’s home and steal all that he has, simply because “they” feel
entitled; it is about responsible fiscal
management and against the demonstrable idiocy of macroeconomics and the
childish thinking that it is impossible to run out of money at the Federal
level; it is about sharing the notion of
democracy with a world full of tyrant-led states and murderous dictators.
All this is something
that gays, Hispanics, blacks and whites, can support
. . . . . . together.
