McCain wins by wide margin — PHOENIX — Sen. John McCain routed former Rep. J.D. Hayworth in the Arizona Republican primary Tuesday night after a contentious campaign marked by stinging attacks and McCain's attempts to burnish his own conservative credentials. . . . .Editor's notes: the discredited "Politico" rag gets it right -- McCain wins by wide margin. Here is what this bunch of Leftist manipulators completely miss: McCain is a part of the old guard within the GOP who is despised by the conservative base of the GOP. He is a compromising boob with no moral centre when it comes to politics; a man willing to compromise on just about anything. Let's not forget that during the '08 campaign, this clown declared his intention to use Al Gore as his environmental chief !! It was under his "leadership," the dark side negative to Newt Gingrich, that the GOP Congress lost its majority and gave up trillions (4 trillion in total) in debt. Now that he is "safe" for another 6 years, expect him to return to his compromising roots. HE is the reason why Obama is president. Some 5 million conservatives stayed away from the polls in '08 and another [perhaps] 6 million decided to give the "new guy" a chance.
You can be sure that this will not happen again.
Too bad JD Hayworth was the alternative. Turns out that Hayworth was as compromised as McCain.
Point of post: we have no higher purpose in this post than to simply complain about a man who helped to drive the GOP off a cliff.
