Alvin Green's the name, ask me again and I'll tell you the same. Who ??!! Well, he just won the Democrat primary in South Carolina. Immediately, the racist Democrat southerners who run South Carolina Democrat politics asked him to step down. He is "up on porn charges" but not convicted. He was honorably discharged from the military but the discharge was "involuntary." He has $114 dollars in his campaign fund. He saved for two years to post the $10,000 filing fee. He lives with his 81 year old ailing father and prefers the telephone over the computer, which he checks (email we suppose) two or three times a week. Before you make too much of the "involuntary discharge," know that the Pentagon says he was granted the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and Korean Defense Service Medal.Oh. We almost forgot. He beat a sitting judge, Vic Rawl, a man who had served 4 terms in the state legislature. Greene won with a 59 % vote total and didn't run a single campaign ad. He couldn't. He didn't have any money !!
His opponent come November will be Senator and conservative hero, Jim DeMint. Greene should lose to DeMint by a wide margin -- at least that is what Vic Rawls tells us.
