Hundreds of Tikrit civilian security forces, surrendering last Wednesday, were taken to an open ditch, and slaughtered, Sunday morning.

Update: FoxNews reported (June 16,2014) that the total slaughtered in this incident was 1700. Thanks Obama for absolutely nothing. Claiming the Bush victory as his own (Biden to Larry King in February of 2010) kind of blew up in the Wordmeister's Face and deservedly so.

The ISLS, resurrected from the dead after Obama took office, are threatening to march into Baghdad with the purpose of taking Iraq for themselves, since Obama and Biden thought it a good idea to cut and run, after they took office. Now, those with commonsense, can see why we needed to secure a Status of Forces agreement, in 2009. If we had remained in Iraq, as we did with all other nations we have defeated (we are still in Germany and we did not leave Japan for 12 years) NONE of this would be happening. Sunday's slaughter and the beheadings of some two hundred others, over the course of the past three months, has struck fear in the hearts and souls, of the Iraqi opposition. Those troops are simply leaving the battlefield, rather than face a certain and tortuous death.

Update: Understand that ISIS differs from the other "organizations" of murdering Jihadists in that ISIS is an marauding, Sunni army with thousands of fighters (two to four thousand by most estimates) and the others are not. It fights as a unit; is growing [almost] exponentially, drawing from the Sunni populations within Syria and Iraq, adding wealth upon wealth as it raids the banks located in the cities they conquer, and showing no mercy or civility towards those enemy forces they capture. It intends to attack the US and destroy Israel, after establishing a nation-home in Iraq.

To argue that we have no "dog in this fight," is to stupidly forget that 9/11 was a planned offensive move, fully planned and staffed, during the last two years of the Clinton Administration, in the terror filled, nation-state of Afghanistan. The oceans off our west/east coasts have not been a barrier to the enemy for decades. A Middle East, controlled by a army/state of terrorists, hell bent on world domination and the deaths of all Jews, Christians, and non-Sunni nations, is a most serious threat. When the Left asks, "So what are you doing to do, tough guy, start another war?" my eyes cross at the ignorance of the Left, knowing that the war on terror is not over simply because our leadership refuses to stand it's ground and fight back. Guaranteed, if Israel or (especially) this country, is attacked, war will no longer be an option.

Baghdad is less than 100 miles to the south.

Thanks, Obama, for absolutely nothing.

Tuesday of this week (June 10, 2014), the ISIL stormed into Mogul and took that city from Iraqi control. The next day, Wednesday, the terror organization took Takrit and stood 100 miles from the Iraqi capitol of Baghdad. Thursday, the ISIL raided one of

Iraq

's largest banks and took possession of $400,000 dollars, making it the wealthiest terror organization in the Middle East.

What most do not know, unless they read this same time blog, is that the ISIL was completely defeated and driven from

Iraq

, back in 2005/2006. They owned no property, had no money, was leaderless, and had no influence whatsoever in the terrorist community.

In fact, the whole of Iraq was so much under control by the end of the Bush term, that Biden, 12 months after being sworn in a VP, went on record touting the Iraqi victory, but attributing it to Obama., despite the fact that wartime operations ended in 2008.

You’re gonna see 90,000 American troops come marchin’ home by the end of the summer. You’re gonna see a stable government in Iraq that is actually movin’ toward a representative government. I’ve been impressed, how they have been deciding to use the political process, rather than guns, to settle their differences.”

Keep in mind, the Commander of military forces does not announce the withdrawal of 90,000 troops, unless he sees the particular war effort as a victory and their presence no longer necessary. In claiming the Bush victory for Obama, Biden unwittingly admitted the Bush victory in Iraq.

"ISIL" translates to Islamic State of Iraq [and the] Levant. The title of this rejuvenated terror organization, frames Iraq as its base country and the larger region (see the Levant map) as its initial territory. And ALL of its successes have occurred in the last two months of 2014. five full years after Obama took office, claimed the Iraqi victory, and deserted that country. Note: Apparently the media is going to refer to this group as "ISIS," or the Islamic State of Iraq [and] Syria.

The entire Middle East region, including Israel, is in serious danger because of this group of murdering Muslim. They are the most vicious of all groups, beheading hundreds in the past two months. Jordan and Iraq have both asked Obama for military support, but, of course, Obama refuses to help, taking the cowards way out, putting in danger what is left of our allies in the region, all to satisfy the peacenik base, in his own party.

Update: Understand that Biden's failure-on-purpose to negotiate a "Status of Forces" treatise, which would have left up to 25,000 troops in Iraq, is the single most important key the present day crisis. Had we committed to such a treatise effort, Iranian rebels would not have passed through Iraq into Syria, nor would the invading forces of the ISIS, moved from NW Syria into Iraq. The Obama Administration simply did not want this treatise. As a result, Obama got to brag about getting ALL troops out of that country while claiming the Bush Iraqi victory as his own. We are seeing the results of this particular word game.

This promises to be another nail in the Progressives' coffin. I have said and written, for years, that the worst thing to happen for Obama, would be the Middle East blowing up in his face. Well, you are looking at the beginning of that eventuality.

This cartoon has special relevance in the fact the Iraq, declared a victory by Joe the Blow Biden 12 months after he and Obama took office, is on the verge of being overrun by an alQaeda organization known as ISIL.
