As the Day of Reckoning approaches , the Never Trump Republican, is looking more and more like a spoiled brat.

Think about the justification for violating pledges and working in such a way as to guarantee the election of one of the most profound globalists of our time, next to Barack Obama, that is.

Billy Kristol, Mitt Romney, the Bush family and Jeb, in particular, have been telling us for months that Trump will drive votes away from the "down ticket," that we may lose the Senate because of Trump. Never mind the fact that this election cycle was well known for being problematic for the GOP. As it turns out, 10 Democrats and 24 Republican Senators are in the mix for reelection. That has been a known fact for years. Of the 24 GOP seats, anywhere between 6 and 10 seats are "vulnerable." The Dems need to win 5 seats to turn the Senate or 4 seats if Hillary wins the election. Her VP would be the tie-breaker in that scenario.

The talk, 6 days before November 8, offers hope to the GOP with regard to keeping the Senate in 2016. 2018 is scheduled to be a good year for the GOP. Even if they lose the Senate in this election cycle, the odds favor the GOP for taking back or maintaining control of the Senate, in 2018.

In the end, it is looking as though all those warnings, all that angst and fear of what Trump might do to the GOP, are proving to of little concern.

When "they" talk about what Trump might cost the GOP, I am sorry, but the McCain election cost the GOP two entire years of political suffering as Republicans wondered to and fro, in a world of One Party Rule. So stop with all that talk of what Trump will do to the Grand Old Party. It already happened !!!!!!! And this year's election will not have the negative impact of the John McCain loss.
