Eddie Justice was trapped in a nightclub bathroom when he contacted his
mother Mina for the last time in a series of messages. The City of
Orlando has now confirmed he was one of the 49 party goers who were shot
dead by Islamic extremist Omar Mateen on Sunday morning.
What you do not see but was televised on Fox and Friends this morning, is his last text "Hurry, he's in the bathroom with us."
Understand that Eddie Justice did not "get what he deserved" as a practicing homosexual. The Christian view that is inline with the message of Christ is the message of grace for all and the fact that his death on the cross was and is an act that benefits all of mankind (John 3:16, Romans 5:7-9, and I Peter 3:18).
A message to some Evangelicals:
There is nothing in homosexuality that makes it a worse transgression than talking back to your parents or those who are prideful, boasters in their own strengths, guilty of conceit or pride or are unforgiving (see Romans 1:28 - chapter 2:1).
I am not trying to preach at anyone. What I am saying is this: none of us are "better" than anyone else. If Eddie got "what he deserved," we should have all been killed in Orlando.
Message to the Left:
The Left is quick to approve of homosexuality in order to justify our relating to those in that community. As it turns out, the truth is something else. We are "guilty," and the gay persuasion is no worse than those who guilty of pride, talking back to parents and so on. We can relate to the gay because none of us are closer to God than others . . . . . . period.
And how sad is it to realize that Eddie's mother was in contact with her son and could do nothing to save him.
