No one is talking about one of the biggest 2016 campaign issues except our blog.

Obamacare’s “Cadillac tax” will hit one in four employers, most of these employers being the nation's unions, according to analysis released on Tuesday.   I have been reminding the readership,  for a year,  that this coming enrollment period  (beginning in October) will finally see the inclusion of the employer mandate.  And that mandate includes a 40% tax on quality written health insurance policies,  most of which are union sponsored plans.

When I write "40% tax" I am saying that all current quality written, employer sponsored,  plans will see a 40% monthly/annual increase to their premiums   . . . .   in addition to the normal annual premium increases.

I expect to see a huge outcry coming from the unions.  I, also,  believe that this increase will be a major 2016 campaign issue.
