Updated for this commentary: The penalty for not signing up in early 2014 was $95. The penalty for this second year (2015) is $305. The penalty for 2016 will be $695. If you enroll to avoid the penalty in 2016 of $695, you will pay $1,700 for your coverage for one year, money out of your pocket, and the Feds will pay the remaining $4000 (an estimate) cost for your policy.

Obama will tout the penalty as a reason for buying insurance, hoping that you will forget that your out of pocket expense will be three or four or five times the amount of the penalty. It is just a matter of time, before folks realize what a scam, this ObamaCare, truly is. This is not healthcare reform. Rather, it is insurance reform and nothing more.

What is a joy to me, is the fact that because of the ignorance of those thinking they had fooled the people, the Utopian Dream of "single payer" is dead, dead, dead. Maybe 60 years from now, Single Payer will be revisited, but, for the immediate future, Single Payer will be tied to Government Ineptitude, and is dead in the water, for that reason . Thanks to Pelosi/Obama, and the moron we know as Harry Reid.
