The newest super star in cable news is . . . . . . . . . . . .

Megyn Kelly's new primetime show jumped 38 percent with total viewers to 2.8 million and an astonishing 116 percent among adults 18-54 to 623,000,  from Monday nights debut totals.   What is noteworthy is the fact that the so-called “demo” audience,  those folks between 18 and 54 who buy stuff,  totaled 508,947 for Fox,  but only 264,277 for 2nd place,  MSNBC.

Kelly’s Tuesday night totals,  brought in more than 620,000 in this demo group,  besting [even] Bill O’Reilly.  Sean Hannity,  who was moved from the 6:00 pm time slot (Pacific Time),  also fared considerably better in his second night at 7 p.m., pst.   Sean averaged 2.17 million viewers and 517,047 with  the  demo audience, a surprisingly strong showing for the conservative pundit.  His totals,  also,  bested CNN and MSNBC competition combined.

In fact,  Fox News continues to field audiences that total more than CNN,  MSNBC  and HLN, combined.

But the real news,  here, is this:  Megyn Kelly may be the new “point man” for the network.  Good for her  . . . . . .  very good news, for her and good news for commonsense,  conservative reporting.
