White House officials, including top Obama adviser Valerie
Jarrett, were on hand at this week’s AFL-CIO convention to pressure union
leaders not to voice their growing
angst with Obamacare in the form of a strongly worded resolution blasting
the president’s government healthcare overhaul.
The AFL-CIO approved the resolution despite the Obama
Administration’s urgings.
“The nation’s largest labor federation is going on the
record for the very first time that Obamacare will be bad medicine for its
union members,” reported MSNBC’s Brian Schactman. “The resolution says costs
will skyrocket for insurance plans that are jointly run by unions and smaller
companies, leaving workers no choice but to drop coverage.”

Saving Face: A few more examples
The IRS and SpyGate scandals go directly to the WH, as does the Benghazi cover-up. His failings in Libya, Egypt, Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan continue to a collective embarrassment to Obama, as well. And let's not forget his monumental failure in his Russian "reset" initiative beginning with Obama giving the Russian President a toy "reset button" with wrong wording written in Russian.
On the domestic front, his two programs to save homeowners from foreclosure have both failed, miserably. ObamaCare is a bigger mess than he can cover up. His jobs stimulus package in Feb of 2009 did not create an long term and permanent jobs, statistically speaking. The Dodd/Frank "too big to fail" bill is not fully written three years after it was passed into law by a super-Democrat Congress.
And, of the 4.5 years he has served, he has actually dedicated himself to the business of "president" less than 9 months (total time spent) doing the work of a president. Instead, he has spend more money in domestic travel and the giving of speeches than all modern day presidents, combined. A quick example of his malfeasance is his 150 trips to the golf course; that's nearly six months of Obama doing nothing but playing a game, most of it during working hours. His wife has taken 26 vacations or one every two months.
