Leon Panetta explains his decision to do nothing rather than try to save the lives of those at the Benghazi Embassy

Panetta hides behind his military, do-nothing-in-the-face-of crisis, leadership as he tries to explain why the US Marine Corps no longer has a policy of fighting to save those forces in harms way.  Understand that Special Ops are trained to enter combat zones not fully vetted.  What in the world do you think happened during the bin Laden assassination?  They didn't know what was waiting for them in that assignment,   so they prepared for all possibilities.  Panette is simply being a feckless ass about this monstrous and criminal failure and looking the part of a fool,  in doing so  . . . . and I liked Panetta up until he caved to political pressure in this,  the worst of  ways.
