In the general population, Left leaning polls tell us Romney’s favorability

rating is around 40 %. Going into the GOP convention, his approval rating was 50%. Using Twitter as a base and counting positive Tweets versus negatives, he had a bump in his approval rating of 35 points taking him to 85%. By contrast, Chris Christie scored a 10 point bump. Hats off to our next First Lady.
