One cannot help but notice the sharp drop in Obama's
campaign numbers compared to Romney. Why the drop? His
"you didn't build your business, somebody else did that"
statement has erased all of the gains (if any) he made with his blistering
three month attack on Romney.
Today (July 23), he called all the flack over his
statement "a bogus issue" and seems to want to laugh off the
controversy.
Problem: the controversy is not about to "go
away." His argument is that of the social justice crowd when they
are talking about raising taxes on the business community.
Today, he tried to make the case that he was not
talking about "building your business," rather, he was
talking about all the benefits - education, infrastructure, etc. -
society (government) has provided to the entrepreneur. Of
course, that is not what he said. I mean, we have the video.
Here is a 3 minute clip of the speech. The context is undeniable
and the statement this socialist, business hating, One Worlder made is beyond
debate:
As long as he denies the statement, it will remain
"red meat" for all his opponents. We just hope he keeps
talking, keeps denying, keeps pretending that he can change an obvious
bit of reality.
In the latest Rasmussen poll, 76% of the population disagreed with this ridiculous statement. Like I said, we are hoping that he keeps on running his mouth without that precious teleprompter.
