There it is -- proof that Gingrich may have a shot at the GOP nomination for the presidency. The grey bars are those representing polling results in October. The red bars are the most recent polling results, taken after the debate this past weekend.
Huntsman and Santorum show modest improvement but Newt wins the prize. He has tripled his approval rating in a matter of days according to the most recent CNN poll.
He consistently finishes in the top three of those debating, if he was not the outright winner of all of them. He is the only one who chastises the presses and forces them to back down. His conservative credential are well documented. We all believe him when he says, he will take down ObamaCare and the rest of the Marxist agenda. And, I believe he knows how not to get sucked into a prolonged debate with the Marxist Media over his own set of scandals. They [ the scandals] have been around for more than a decade. He has even sought forgiveness for some of what happened in his past. It is time for us to move on.
If the Left can overlook the Clinton mess, it had better overlook the disgusting scandal involving Newt. If we are going to delve into Gingrich's past, again, the Right needs to spend the bucks and go after Obama.
Questions I would like to see asked include: Obama has publically admitted to having used cocaine. How long was he a substance abuser and from whom did he purchase his blow? Did he ever deal cocaine and what would he offer as proof that he is no longer a user? Who funded his college education? Did he benefit from any special treatment offered to minorities (which is fine) or did he actually merit college entry as a matter of above average scholastic accomplishment? What were those accomplishments? What was his SAT score? Why did he surrender his law license? He is credited with being a "Constitutional scholar." Why? Has he ever published peer-reviewed monographs on the subject? What lecture can he present as evidence of his notoriety? Specifically, what classes did he teach at the University of Chicago or the University of Columbia or where ever? We are told that he had "professor" status. Does that mean he taught more than "summer school?" He has been in the public eye for several years, now. Why are there no reports, approving or otherwise, from past classmates or, especially, from past students? Not a single past student has ever come forward with a claim to have sat in his classes. Again, why? You would think they would be excited to do so.
At any rate, Newt is on the rise. He is the best qualified. And his debate performance versus Obama would be a hoot.
