Obama has been blaming the GOP for 5 weeks, non stop. After today, he lies if he continues that nonsense. His Democrat Senate just defeated his bill.

I think this is funny. How many times have I said that Obama has the political instincts of a nat? This story is proof of what I say.

If you are a Democrat, big government or Marxist One Worlder, explain to me on this blog, why Obama decided to dream up and push his American Jobs Act without consulting ANYONE, Democrat or Republican? If he had done so, he would have known that this bill was going nowhere; he would have known that the GOP was not going to get the blame.

He presented the bill in a joint session on one day, and, stupidly (correct me if I am wrong) began chastising the GOP for "standing in the way" within 24 hours, as if the bill could have and should have passed through the legislative process in that time period. If that is not the act of a moron, it is certainly childish. For certain, this is not the act of one who knows what he is doing.

The embarrassment of today, the failure of Obama's jobs bill at the hands of his own people, is more than a slap in his face. It destroys a key strategy in his re-election effort. He recently said, "I can't run against Congress if they pass my bill." Well, news flash: Obama cannot run against Congress if his own party refuses his legislative ideas. Let me say this: if Democrats begin to think that Obama is preparing to throw his own party under the bus in an effort to survive, politically, you should know he will not be the presidential candidate of the Democrat Party.

Here is what happened today, just a few hours ago:

Report: The $447 billion package of tax cuts and new spending failed by a vote of 50 to 48, short of the 60 votes it needed to advance in the 100-member Senate. Voting was expected to continue for several hours but would not affect the outcome.

Obama, campaigning in Florida, said the vote was not the end of the fight for the measure. In a statement after the vote, Obama accused Republicans of obstruction and said he would work with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to make sure that individual proposals in the bill would get a vote as soon as possible.

"Ultimately, the American people won't take 'no' for an answer. It's time for Congress to meet their responsibility, put their party politics aside and take action on jobs right now." end of quote.

Obviously, Obama is in a state of abject denial. Again, he presented the bill without consulting with his party, and now acts surprised that the bill failed. Instead of remaining in D.C. and doing his stinking job, for a change, he ran around the country on our dime, doing nothing but campaigning. His numbers are going through the floor. And, after today's Senate debacle, things are going to get worse.

Understand that our best asset in the campaign to get this clown out of Washington, is Obama, himself. He has taken three years and spent 2 trillion on various aspects of a "jobs agenda." Nothing has worked and it is time for him to step down, even before the election.

  1. How many Democrats voted for the bill? 50? How many Democrats are there in the Senate? 51!

  2. Exactly . . . Actually, there are 53 Senators who caucus with the Dems.

If you have not figured it out yet, I use much of the same rhetorical strategy as the Marxist hordes, ala Saul Alinsky. I don't lie, but, I do cut it close. In this case, by definition, this IS a Democrat Senate. If the tables were turned, the Dems would be making the identical charge for a GOP Senate. They would be saying, "The GOP Senate voted . . . . (thus and so)" and you know it. So EXCUUUUUUUUSE me for doing the same.

Don't get so hung up on my rhetorical strategy. It mirrors the Lefies. I learned it from them, only I am better at it than they are. I would ask that you pay attention to the actual facts I put out there. Let's fight over that.

A while back, you made the point that you were going to continue "busting balls" over what I write, or words to that effect. I responded by saying that I could "take it."

    Issues, younger dude, issues.

I write using the rules of these losers.

Secondly, the fact remains that if Obama is going to run against Congress, he will be running against his own party as well as the GOP. I think that is funny.

Finally, this Senate vote was a strategic vote. Reid knew it would not pass. Have you forgotten about his refusal to call for a vote, FOR FREAKING MONTHS, in the Senate with regard to ObamaCare? At any time during 2009, at any time, that bill would have failed. A vote was scheduled probably 6 - 8 times during that year, but not a single one was actually taken.

So why did Reid take this vote? You actually think he did not know it would fail? Geeeeeesh.

There are 17 Senators up for vote this coming election cycle, all in "red" districts. 22 Democrat Senators, altogether, are up for vote. Only 10 GOP Senators have a contest this time around.

Whether you like it or not, conservatives will drive this election, as they did in 2010 and the 17 I spoke of are all in big trouble.

The fact of the matter is this: Reid did not even try to get this piece of idiocy past. And where was Obama? ALL other presidents would be in DC, busting butt and heads to get this approved. But Obama was busy running around the country, running his mouth.

By the way, I have eased up a bit ion my regular postings. Noticed?

And, I am getting ready to be more critical of the GOP. You might like that.

Interested in a phone conversation or two? Just asking. I think we would actually get along. I DO have friends with whom I do not agree . . . . .. at all.
