War is about breaking things and killing people. That is exactly why it is so terrible. But, if war is necessary, and few are, "better them than us" is a great strategy. Dropping those two bombs on Japan and the consequent loss of life, saved hundreds of thousands of American soldiers. Its called "winning."
Well, Obama, one of the poorest students of war in presidential history. had plans to apologize for dropping those two bombs on Japan back in 1945.
That picture in this post? I don't see The Tall One bowing before people who have no clue as to what he is doing; rather, I see a president with his butt in the air, waving the white flag of apology. Can't see that flag?!! Well . . . . . it was there a moment ago. Maybe he inhaled.
Anyway, documents just released gave us this information. Turns out the Japaneses talked him out of acting on such nonsense, fearing repercussions from their own community, specifically, opponents to nuclear power. So, it didn't happen.
Reports are that this was the last time Obama listened to anyone.
